The successful candidate will drive cross-functional collaboration across Design, Verification, Layout, CAD, Product Engineering, and Technology Development teams to deliver high-quality silicon on aggressive schedules.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead the design and execution of complex memory subsystems and top-level integration activities.\nOwn design planning, technical decision-making, risk assessment, and schedule execution.\nCoordinate with architecture, verification, layout, DFT, and product engineering teams to ensure design quality and manufacturability.\nReview design specifications, microarchitecture documents, and implementation plans.\nDrive RTL, mixed-signal, memory controller, PHY, or custom circuit design activities depending on project needs.\nLead design reviews and drive issue resolution across organizations.\nMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership to project teams.\nDefine and improve design methodologies utilizing AI-enabled tools, automation, and best practices.\nSupport silicon bring-up, debug, characterization, and yield improvement activities.\nCommunicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to management and stakeholders.\nRequired Qualifications\nBS/MS/PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.\n8+ years of semiconductor design experience (adjust per internal leveling guidelines).\nDemonstrated experience leading complex IC development programs.\nStrong understanding of digital and/or custom circuit design methodologies.\nExperience with:RTL design (Verilog/SystemVerilog)\nTiming closure and physical implementation concepts\nVerification and debug flows\nDFT and silicon validation\nPower, performance, and area optimization\n\nStrong communication, leadership, and project management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with DRAM, DDR, HBM, LPDDR, or advanced memory products.\nExperience leading global cross-functional teams.\nKnowledge of advanced process nodes and design-for-manufacturing concepts.\nExperience with Synopsys and Cadence implementation flows.\nFamiliarity with package integration, 2.5D/3D stacking, TSV, and advanced packaging technologies.\nStrong track record of successful product tape-outs.\nLeadership Expectations\nTechnical ownership of major product deliverables.\nLead without direct authority across multiple organizations.\nInfluence architecture and technology decisions.\nMentor and develop engineering talent.\nDrive execution excellence and accountability.\nSuccess Metrics\nDelivery of design milestones on schedule.\nSilicon quality and first-pass success.\nTechnical innovation and problem solving.\nCross-functional collaboration effectiveness.\nMentorship and team impact.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
