You will contribute to device and cell development, lead experimental investigations, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve performance, reliability, and scalability. This is an opportunity to work on leading-edge memory technology and influence future product roadmaps.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop DRAM cell and access device technologies to improve density, retention, and disturb immunity\nDesign and execute silicon experiments; perform electrical characterization, data analysis, and interpretation\nAnalyze array-level behavior and collaborate with circuit teams to optimize operating conditions and sequences\nCoordinate efforts among multiple departments to ensure developed solutions are scalable and manufacturable \nContribute to technology roadmaps through benchmarking, technical evaluation, and strategic recommendations\nMinimum Qualifications:\nM.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field\nUnderstanding of semiconductor device physics, including MOSFETs, access devices, and capacitors\nExperience with electrical measurement, device characterization, and data analysis\nKnowledge of DRAM fundamentals, including activation, sensing, retention, and interference mechanisms \nProficiency with data analysis and scripting applications including Python, MATLAB, or JMP \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience with DRAM or NAND device development\nExperience using TCAD simulation tools such as Synopsys Sentaurus or Silvaco\nExperience in semiconductor device fabrication or advanced BEOL integration\nKnowledge of device reliability mechanisms and variation analysis, including AI-enabled data analysis techniques\nStrong communication skills with the ability to present technical results and drive cross-functional alignment\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
