# Equipment Engineer

Responsible for monitoring, sustaining, and improving the equipment in assigned area while partnering with Shift Ops team members, area engineers, and tool vendors. Requires supervising tool performance, scheduling and performing preventative maintenance, and using mechanical, electronic, and software skills to diagnose and resolve equipment issues. Maintain current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades, and safety issues. Analyze equipment performance and reliability; develop programs and solutions to increase uptime and address issues affecting manufacturing processes. Provide technical support to manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering teams; define and write preventative maintenance (PM) schedules.
