You will work cross-functionally with the team members specializing in operations, equipment, and other areas and collaborate with support groups to drive continuous improvement and work with SMAI teams to simplify work tasks through AI enablement\nShift process technicians address issues that detract from Fab operations, including containment, documentation, and communication of non-standard events. Shift duties include performing control plans, evaluating equipment health, resolving defect-related issues, and supporting other areas of the operation to ensure quality, efficiency, and output goals are met.\nRoles and Responsibilities.\nInvestigation of multiple qual fails\nEnsure equipment are logged in the correct state.\nIdentify long term fixes for chronic SPC or disposition failures.\nTimely response and execution of tasks related to tool alarms and process deviations.\nTimely escalation of short term and long term issues.\nIdentify inefficiencies with throughput of WIP.\nEnsure that CPM and PMQ is followed per area business processes and procedures.\nTimely response to equipment faults that place product at jeopardy.\nEfficient management of area TW.\nStrong collaboration with engineers to correct out of spec (SPC) tools\nUnderstand and actively use PCA to troubleshoot tool issues, post repair & post PM (preventive maintenance) work.\nWork with shift engineers to find root cause of RDA flags through DTS and ITS cases\nCorrectly and accurately commenting SPC Charts.\nEfficient and effective DL1 monitoring. Identifying of potential excursion threats equipment and working with equipment team to proactively address.\nWork with engineering to create BKMs for reacting to product and/or inline qualification fails or trends.\nIdentify gaps within procedures and seek to bridge gaps.\nMinimum Education/Experience for all Technician Positions\nBe open and flexible to work any shift and rotate shifts as needed.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nExperience in data extraction, analysis, and reporting\nBasic PC skills including MS Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nBasic knowledge and understanding of semiconductor equipment and processes.\nBasic understanding and accurate application of statistical process control principles\nUnderstanding of mathematical concepts and problem solving, at least to an algebraic level\nFundamental understanding of physics and chemistry concepts and principles.\nAdditional Qualification:\nBasic proficiency with AI-enabled productivity tools, data analysis platforms, and digital manufacturing systems, or demonstrated ability to learn and adopt emerging AI technologies in a manufacturing environment.\nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$22.75 - $38.00 an hourAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
