This role is critical to ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of electrical infrastructure supporting advanced semiconductor manufacturing. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align with site, corporate, and departmental goals. They will contribute expert technical knowledge to advance innovative solutions, ensuring visible impact at the project or program level. The role also requires awareness of leadership skill development, fostering growth in both technical and leadership dimensions.\nKey Responsibilities\nChampion environmental, health, and safety compliance across all electrical operations. Conduct risk assessments and promote a culture of safety and operational discipline.\nLead commissioning, maintenance, and optimization of electrical systems from 230kV to Low Voltage, including emergency generators, Dynamic UPS, and advanced power quality equipment.\nProvide expert-level support for complex operational issues and lead root cause investigations using 8D problem-solving methodologies.\nOversee capacity planning, system performance analysis and execution of expansion projects to enable site growth and production demands.\nReview and validate scope, schedule, and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.\nProvide engineering oversight and technical guidance during design and construction phases.\nConduct risk assessments and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to eliminate single points of failure and enhance system resilience.\nMentor and develop electrical engineers and technicians through structured training programs and hands-on site engagement.\nLead post-incident reviews and drive implementation of corrective and preventive actions for system abnormalities.\nDrive strategic initiatives for system capacity expansion, reliability improvement, and energy efficiency.\nSpearhead the deployment of SMART power systems, predictive diagnostics, and digital tools to enhance team productivity and system intelligence.\nLeveraging AI to improve electrical system and workflow\nProcurement tasks involving ARIBA / SAP software for the purchase of services and parts to upkeep the Facilities Electrical System\nQualifications\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering (Master’s preferred).\nExperience: Minimum 8 years of experience in High, Medium, and Low Voltage Electrical\nHave experience in electrical systems design, maintenance, and operations within semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments.\nTechnical Skills: Proficiency in HV/MV/LV systems, ETAP software, and IEC standards.\nKnowledgeable and experienced and application of problem solving and data analysis methodology\nKnowledge of maintenance practices and procedure and installation work for electrical systems within the semiconductor or advanced manufacturing environments\nProficient in quality tool such as 8D & 5 WHY analysis for troubleshooting or incidents investigation.\nAbility to work in a team environment with various professional levels.\nFamiliarity with sustainability efforts (electricity, waste, water reduction) is a plus\nAbility to prioritize and schedule workload and work on multiple tasks concurrently\nStrong documentation, analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills\nEffective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels\nGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning\nAbility to operate in fast paced, 24/7 manufacturing environments\nAI proficiency or familiar with AI-enabled ways of working\nEmbody Micron’s core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, Customer Focus and Speed.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
