In this position, you'll have the opportunity to collaborate with process engineering, IT, equipment automation, data engineering, and data science teams to develop and deliver high quality control strategies and sophisticated methods of variation prediction, identification, and reduction.\nSpecifically, as a PCE R2R Intern, you will learn to develop specific models to identify process variation and further improve variation detection and control capabilities with an end goal of efficiency, equipment & product safety, process variation reduction, and yield improvement. You will participate in data analysis and automation activities, model building and advanced strategy development.\nLearning Opportunities May Include:\nDesign and implement solutions to reduce process variation and develop systems that automate or simplify process control tasks\nIdentify process requirements to design and deliver decision logic\nWrite scripts to extract, shape and filter data for analysis to develop predictive and control models\nLeveraging AI Agents and Code Assists in project development and daily productivity.\nExtracting data from different databases via SQL and other query languages and apply data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques\nCommunicating complex analysis in a succinct and impactful manner\nYou have the following Qualifications:\nDemonstrate a strong curiosity about Control Theory, Statistical Process Control and Semiconductor Manufacturing\nExcellent multi-tasking, time-management, organization and prioritization skills to plan, drive and complete projects effectively\nCritical thinking and problem solving skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nDetailed oriented and able to follow sophisticated procedures\nIdentify, develop, propose, and implement effective plans to improve overall efficiency\nKnowledge of one or more scripting/web development languages a plus (e.g. JMP, Python, Java, JS, TS)\nAbility to evolve skills via internal and external education opportunities\nExperience in software testing/verification is a plus\nEducation and Experience:\nWe are looking for someone currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field.
