By combining advanced digital, analog, and mixed-signal design techniques with simulation, modeling, and performance analysis, the team drives early-stage technology development and helps shape the future of memory solutions.\nPosition Overview\nAs a Design Engineer on Micron's Pathfinding Design Team, you will support the design, modeling, and analysis of digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuits used in next-generation memory technologies. You will work with experienced engineers to evaluate design concepts, develop simulation models, analyze performance trade-offs, and contribute to innovative circuit solutions that improve memory performance, power efficiency, and scalability.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop simulation models to evaluate the performance of digital, analog, and mixed-signal circuit designs.\nPerform simulations, analyze results, and create performance scorecards to compare design alternatives and architectural trade-offs.\nDesign and evaluate new circuit concepts that improve performance, power efficiency, and functionality.\nSupport mixed-signal circuit design, modeling, characterization, and validation activities.\nCollaborate with multi-functional engineering teams to document results, communicate findings, and support technology development initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications\n0-2 years of relevant experience through internships, research, academic projects, or coursework in circuit design, semiconductor technology, or related fields.\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.\nKnowledge of mixed-signal, analog, or digital circuit design principles gained through coursework, research, or project experience.\nExperience with circuit simulation, performance analysis, and semiconductor fundamentals.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of memory architectures, memory subsystems, or DRAM technologies.\nExperience with circuit design and simulation tools through coursework, research, internships, or personal projects.\nKnowledge of statistics, data analysis, and engineering characterization methodologies.\nExperience with scripting, automation, or AI-enabled engineering tools to improve technical workflows.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and solve complex technical problems.\nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$38.84 - $55.82 an hourAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
