Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\nDepartment\nHeterogeneous Integration Group, High Bandwidth Memory Product System Engineering\nProject Title\nAI-Enabled Unified Component Validation Analytics Platform Using Tableau\nProject Description\nThe intern will develop an AI-enabled analytics platform that transforms raw component validation data into standardized and interactive visualizations using Tableau.\nThrough this project, the intern will gain practical experience in semiconductor validation analytics, data engineering, dashboard development, and Artificial Intelligence applications. The platform will enable engineers to examine High Bandwidth Memory validation results across different products, operating conditions, validation flows, and execution runs.\nObjective of the Project\nDevelop a centralized and scalable analytics platform for Component Validation data.\nEstablish a reusable data model that enables consistent analysis across validation flows and High Bandwidth Memory product generations.\nImprove the clarity and accessibility of validation results through interactive Tableau dashboards.\nEvaluate AI-enabled methods for anomaly identification, root-cause investigation guidance, and generation of engineering insights.\nOpportunities for Full-Time Employment\nThe internship will provide exposure to engineering roles involving product validation, data analytics, software development, and Artificial Intelligence.\nAny consideration for future employment will be based on business requirements, position availability, and the intern’s overall suitability.\nProject Scope\nDevelop or enhance a centralized Tableau dashboard platform for Component Validation analytics.\nCreate reusable Python or Java data-processing workflows to ingest, clean, normalize, and integrate execution data from multiple validation flows.\nDesign a standardized relational data model for cross-flow and cross-product analysis of High Bandwidth Memory validation results.\nBuild interactive dashboards containing plots, tables, trends, statistical summaries, and comparisons between current and next-generation products.\nExplore AI-enabled and Agentic AI approaches for anomaly identification, root-cause investigation guidance, workflow scalability, and generation of interpretable engineering insights.\nLearning Opportunities\nGain practical knowledge of High Bandwidth Memory product validation and semiconductor engineering data.\nDevelop proficiency in Tableau dashboard design, data storytelling, and visualization best practices.\nApply Python or Java and Structured Query Language to data processing, integration, and reusable pipeline development.\nLearn to evaluate Generative AI, AI Assistants, Large Language Models, or Agentic Solutions within an engineering analytics context.\nDeliverables\nA scalable, interactive, and user-friendly Tableau platform for Component Validation analytics.\nStandardized data structures and documented data pipelines for repeatable dashboard development.\nVisualizations of validation trends and product comparisons across voltage, temperature, data rate, validation flow, and execution runs.\nA technical project report documenting the architecture, development methodology, findings, limitations, and recommended enhancements.\nA final presentation and demonstration of the completed platform and project outcomes.\nImpact of the Project\nImprove the consistency and accessibility of Component Validation analytics.\nEnable more effective comparison of validation results across products, conditions, and execution flows.\nReduce manual data preparation through standardized and reusable data-processing methods.\nEstablish a foundation for future AI-enabled anomaly identification and engineering insight generation.\nSkillsets Required\nKnowledge of Tableau, including dashboard development, data visualization, and interactive analysis.\nProgramming knowledge in Python and/or Java for data processing and application integration.\nUnderstanding of Structured Query Language, relational databases, and data-modeling concepts.\nFamiliarity with data analytics, statistical interpretation, and visualization best practices.\nInterest in AI-enabled workflows, Generative AI, AI Assistants, Agentic AI, or Large Language Model applications.\nCourse of Interest\nThe ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Data Science, or a related discipline, with an interest in software development, data analytics, or semiconductor engineering.\nDuration of Period\nThe ideal candidate should be able to commit to a full-time internship period of at least 3 months.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
