This internship provides hands-on experience in semiconductor process integration, electrical and inline data analysis, yield improvement, and cross-functional engineering collaboration.\nThe intern will work alongside experienced Process Integration engineers to understand complex semiconductor manufacturing processes, analyze large data sets, identify process and yield opportunities, and support engineering solutions that improve technology performance and manufacturing readiness.\nResponsibilities\nAs a Process Integration Engineer Intern, you will:\nSupport integration and optimization of semiconductor process modules across the DRAM manufacturing flow.\nAnalyze electrical, inline, process, and yield data to identify performance gaps, yield detractors, and process anomalies.\nApply statistical analysis and engineering problem-solving methodologies to investigate complex technical issues.\nPartner with Process Integration, Process Engineering, Yield Engineering, Device, Technology Development, and other cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement.\nUse data analytics, visualization, automation, and AI-assisted tools to improve engineering problem-solving efficiency and productivity.\nSupport experiments and data analysis to understand relationships between process conditions, device performance, and product yield.\nDevelop dashboards, analytical methods, or other tools that improve engineering efficiency and decision-making.\nDocument technical findings and communicate results and recommendations to engineering teams and leadership.\nLeveraging AI in day-to-day operation and tasks\nMinimum Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science/Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field.\nStrong analytical and technical problem-solving skills.\nFundamental understanding of semiconductor devices, semiconductor processing, or manufacturing.\nExperience with statistical data analysis.\nAbility to analyze technical data and draw engineering conclusions.\nStrong communication, teamwork, and self-motivation.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of semiconductor fabrication and process flows; DRAM process knowledge is a plus.\nKnowledge of semiconductor devices, including CMOS and/or capacitor fundamentals.\nExperience with statistical methods such as SPC, DOE, correlation analysis, or yield analysis.\nExperience using engineering data-analysis and visualization tools such as JMP and Excel.\nExperience with Python, scripting, automation, dashboards, data visualization, or AI tools is a plus.\nPrevious semiconductor industry, research, laboratory, or process-engineering experience is a plus.\nSPC, DOE and yield-analysis knowledge were preferred in the earlier posting, which also specifically listed Excel and JMP.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
