By using statistical methodologies, automation systems and AI enabled analytics, the RAM team drives ongoing improvement and supports the development of next-generation memory technologies.\nWe are seeking a highly motivated Process Integration Intern to join our RAM team in Boise, ID. This internship offers hands-on experience in semiconductor process integration, with a focus on in-fab measurement performance, RDA signal analysis, and process control optimization and the practical use of AI tool in manufacturing. You’ll be assigned a project designed to span the duration of your 3-month internship, with training provided to ensure safe and effective participation in cleanroom fabrication environments\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze defect and metrology data to identify process trends and anomalies.\nUse Micron's approved AI tools and macine learining methods to speed up data analysis, defect classification and reporting. \nSupport process control initiatives using SPC and DOE methodologies.\nInvestigate deviations in measurement results and propose corrective actions.\nCollaborate with engineers to improve measurement accuracy, tool matching, and data integrity.\nAssist in tool health monitoring and calibration routines.\nWork with fab automation systems to troubleshoot data collection and integration issues.\nIdentify repetitive tasks that can be automated or imroved with AI and document the time or quality gains.\nTake initiative to drive your assigned project to completion.\nPresent findings in a verbal presentation near the end of the internship, including how AI was used and the impact it had on the project.\nMinimum Qualifications\nJunior-level status in Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.\nMust be a current student and not graduating before September 2026.\nPassion for working in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.\nStrong technical, analytical, and communication skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office and JMP.\nA mindset for continuous improvement and creative problem solving.\nInterest in applying AI tools responsibly to engineering problems, including checing AI generated results against the actual data. \nAbility to recognize and escalate process anomalies with urgency.\nPreferred Qualifications\nUnderstanding of SPC (Statistical Process Control) and DOE (Design of Experiments).\nExperience with scripting, programming, or visualization tools (Python, Java, Tableau, Matlab).\nStrong data intuition and visualization skills.\nFamiliarity with data collection systems, warehousing, and cleansing.\nHands-on experience in data analytics and database querying.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
