You will work on full stack applications, AI agents, LLM integrations, and modern software systems while gaining hands-on experience with production-grade AI technologies, cloud-native architectures, and AI-assisted software development practices.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and support AI-enabled software applications using modern programming languages, web technologies, databases, APIs, and cloud-based architectures.\nBuild and integrate AI capabilities such as large language models (LLMs), AI agents, retrieval systems, and intelligent automation solutions into enterprise applications.\nCollaborate with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\nUtilize AI-assisted development tools, automation frameworks, and modern engineering practices to improve software quality, productivity, and delivery efficiency.\nResearch, evaluate, and prototype emerging AI technologies while contributing to software documentation, testing, continuous improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.\nMinimum Qualifications\n0-2 years of relevant experience through internships, research projects, coursework, academic projects, hackathons, or software development experience in artificial intelligence, software engineering, data science, or related technical fields.\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.\nExpected graduation date of September 2027 or later.\nStrong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming concepts.\nExperience with at least one programming language such as Python, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or similar technologies.\nFamiliarity with relational and/or NoSQL database technologies.\nUnderstanding of software architecture principles and modern application development practices.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.\nDemonstrated experience using AI-enabled tools and large language models (LLMs) such as Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar technologies to improve productivity, software development, learning, and problem-solving.\nPreferred Qualifications\nKnowledge of large language models (LLMs), AI agents, generative AI, and modern AI application architectures.\nFamiliarity with prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector databases, embeddings, Model Context Protocol (MCP), and agentic workflows.\nBasic understanding of machine learning concepts, including model training, inference, supervised learning, and unsupervised learning.\nExperience with AI-assisted software development tools, coding assistants, or intelligent automation technologies.\nExperience building web applications using modern full stack frameworks and development practices.\nFamiliarity with REST APIs, cloud platforms, containerization technologies, DevOps tools, or CI/CD methodologies.\nExperience using source control systems such as Git and participating in collaborative software development workflows.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts effectively.\nDemonstrated curiosity, initiative, and passion for learning emerging AI technologies and solving complex technical challenges.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
