Working alongside experienced project and program leaders, you will learn project management fundamentals while coordinating schedules, tracking milestones, facilitating cross-functional collaboration, and supporting equipment deployment activities. As the internship progresses, you will assume ownership of a project or workstream and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.\nResponsibilities\nSupport planning, scheduling, and execution of equipment qualification, deployment, and risk-mitigation activities across multiple programs while maintaining project documentation, trackers, and dashboards.\nCoordinate recurring cross-functional meetings with engineering, manufacturing, and supplier partners; track action items, decisions, risks, and issue resolution to support program objectives.\nAssist with equipment build, shipment, installation, and deployment tracking across manufacturing sites, ensuring alignment with project milestones and schedules.\nCollaborate with technical teams to identify dependencies, assess schedule impacts, and support risk assessment and contingency planning activities.\nApply Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and reporting solutions to improve project tracking, status reporting, and program visibility.\nMinimum Qualifications\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Project Management, or a related technical field, with plans to return to complete the degree following the internship.\nDemonstrated organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and stakeholders simultaneously.\nExperience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and project-tracking tools to organize, analyze, and communicate information.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional team environments.\nAbility to learn and apply structured project management concepts such as scheduling, risk tracking, status reporting, and action management.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior internship, academic project, leadership experience, or coursework involving project coordination, program management, engineering operations, or supply chain planning.\nInterest in semiconductor manufacturing, test engineering, equipment development, or technical program management.\nExperience creating project schedules, dashboards, reports, or performance metrics to support business decisions.\nAbility to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail and follow-through.\nExperience leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) or AI-assisted productivity tools to support project coordination, reporting, data analysis, or process improvement activities.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
