This individual contributor role helps strengthen shipment visibility, support incident response, and enable data-driven decisions for valuable and sensitive shipments across Micron’s transportation network!\nResponsibilities:\nCollect, analyze, and report on logistics security data related to high-value and high-risk shipments, including shipment value, route risk, carrier performance, tracking status, alert activity, and incident history.\nMonitor internal, vendor, industry, open-source, and law-enforcement sources for cargo theft trends, route disruptions, regional security developments, and emerging threats.\nPrepare intelligence summaries, dashboards, route profiles, regional threat updates, incident trend reports, and briefing materials for logistics security leaders and multi-functional collaborators. \nSupport lane, route, carrier, provider, and regional risk assessments by identifying risk indicators, documenting findings, and helping translate analysis into practical control recommendations.\nAnalyze shipment monitoring alerts such as route deviation, unauthorized stop, signal loss, seal breach, geofence violation, cargo separation, and other logistics security events.\nSupport blocking issue and incident response activities by validating information, compiling shipment and carrier details, maintaining incident timelines, and contributing to after-action reviews. \nMaintain structured records of incidents, near misses, alerts, carrier exceptions, recovery outcomes, false positives, device failures, and corrective actions to support program metrics and continuous improvement.\nAssist with logistics security playbooks, standard operating procedures, reporting templates, risk assessment criteria, audit support materials, and governance documentation.\nUse data analytics, AI-enabled tools, mapping resources, shipment visibility platforms, and intelligence databases to support efficient, well-governed logistics risk analysis.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Security, Risk Management, Business, Data Analytics, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.\nExperience supporting logistics security, transportation risk, supply chain risk, intelligence analysis, investigations, or related risk management functions.\nCollect, analyze, and synthesize operational, security, shipment, carrier, and incident data to identify trends and support decision-making.\nSolid understanding of logistics operations, transportation networks, cargo movement, carrier management, supply chain security, and data visualization/reporting tools.\nPrepare business-focused reports and risk assessments, collaborate across functions, and manage sensitive logistics and security information with discretion.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBackground in supply chain security, logistics, intelligence analysis, risk management, or related disciplines, with relevant certifications/training (e.g., TAPA, CTPAT).\nStrong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and communicate logistics security risks in clear business terms.\nDiligent with the ability to maintain accurate records, reports, documentation, and timelines in fast-paced, time-sensitive environments. \nCollaborate with multi-functional teams, logistics partners, carriers, security vendors, and internal collaborators. \nDemonstrated sound judgment, confidentiality, and proficiency with AI-enabled, data-driven, and automation tools to improve analysis, reporting, and decision-making.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
