You will play a crucial role in maintaining our high safety standards and contribute to our mission of transforming how the world uses information.\nResponsibilities:\nFire Protection System Management: Develop and evaluate fire protection systems (e.g., sprinkler systems, VESDA, gas suppression systems). Confirm alignment with regulatory requirements, FM Global, and company standards. Supervise and coordinate routine maintenance of fire protection equipment.\nSpecial Risk Control in Semiconductor Environment: Evaluate fire risks associated with specialty gases, chemicals, and manufacturing equipment. Provide fire protection build recommendations and improvement measures for high-risk equipment and processes.\nRisk Assessment and Change Management: Perform Fire Risk Assessments (FRA). Evaluate fire protection effects associated with equipment or engineering modifications within the Management of Change (MOC) process.\nTesting, Drills, and Emergency Response: Implement functional testing of fire protection systems. Coordinate fire response drills and assist Emergency Response Team (ERT/ERC) activities.\nDocumentation and Audit Support: Develop and maintain fire safety SOPs and emergency procedures. Respond to audits (fire safety, EHS, FM Global) and drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.\nIncident Investigation and Improvement: Support fire incident investigations and perform root cause analysis (RCA). Propose engineering and management corrective actions.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Occupational Safety and Health, Fire Protection, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Management, or a related field.\nAt least one of the following government-recognized licenses: Firefighting Equipment Engineer/Technician, Occupational Safety Management Specialist, Occupational Health Management Specialist, Occupational Safety and Health Specialist.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nProven experience in fire protection and risk management within a semiconductor or similar high-tech environment.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of successfully implementing safety improvements.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with multi-functional teams.\nAI Relevant Job Responsibilities:\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and following organizational standards and legal requirements.\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.\nAbility to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business objectives.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
