As a Global Quality Manager in the Assembly and Testing Central Quality Assurance (ATCQA) at Micron Technology, Inc., you are the quality champion for end-to-end management of products across Micron sites.
This role requires you to handshake and collaborate with various other partners teams involved across NPI to high volume manufacturing. The role is required to lead a team of engineers.
Responsibilities:
- Be the voice of Quality at site through proactively work with key partners within internal for good resolution with validation to issues.
- Monitor qualifications, phase gates report to validate the improvements and resolutions.
- Manage validation assessments for smooth high-volume manufacturing
- Validates and approve high manufacturing changes management and 8D reports
- Ensure compliance to quality standards
Personnel and Resource management
- Recruit, train, and motivate staff to ensure they carry out their responsibilities to required standards
- Plan for department trainings and provide career development plan based on specific strengths and weakness.
- Advocate and cultivate learning and development within team and department.
- Provide guidance or mentoring to team member as necessary
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proficient in Quality knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of Semiconductor component and module assembly process. Direct experience related to backend assembly will be preferred.
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently, and is detail oriented.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to interact easily with other groups
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese.
- Ability to work under challenging environment
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or above in engineering or related field.
- At least 5 years' experience managing a team overseeing complex manufacturing processes preferred
