You will manage tool performance, schedule and conduct preventative maintenance, and use your mechanical, electronic, and software skills to troubleshoot and fix equipment issues. This hands-on role involves time spent in the fabrication facility, ensuring the efficient operation of our tools and processes.\nResponsibilities:\nAccurately identify and handle chemicals and associated hazards in the work area.\nRecognize and react appropriately to safety alarms (EES, fire alarm, MDA, ERT, etc.).\nImprove area/shift benchmarks by driving LTD reductions, MA improvements, and excursion prevention to optimize overall fab performance.\nDrive a culture of Total Productive Maintenance, including TPM metrics, WS health reports, Continuous Improvement Projects, and MTAGs.\nPartner with Equipment Owners and Shift Engineers/Technicians to implement daily activities and resolve issues affecting yield, excursions, defects, tool restrictions, or output loss.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.\nFlexibility to work any 12- hour shifts with 3 days on/4 days off rotating as well as rotate days to nights every four months. \nKnowledge of AC/DC circuits, fundamentals of electricity, and basic electronic components and circuits.\nSkilled in electrical, vacuum, gas flow, and mechanical fundamentals, including experience using schematic diagrams to fix systems to the component level.\nAbility to work in a cleanroom environment with strong mechanical competence and problem-solving ability.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to learn area equipment and understand the process.\nFirm understanding of equipment build and processing.\nIntermediate understanding of Fab process areas, including processing equipment and supporting systems.\nStrong time management, organization, prioritization, and communication skills.\nExperience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes. \nApplicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
