In this role, you will coordinate both warehouse operations and team development. You will manage chemicals, gases, and raw materials securely and in line with regulations to support Manufacturing and Facilities operations efficiently. \nThe Materials Supervisor is responsible for workforce planning, training, inventory accuracy, service delivery, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, operational performance, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position plays a critical role in driving safety, operational excellence, customer service, and supply continuity across the organization. They will also help drive the future of semiconductor manufacturing.\nResponsibilities\nLead, coach, and develop warehouse team members through performance management, training, cross-training, succession planning, and ongoing feedback to foster a high-performing and accountable team environment.\nManage staffing, workload prioritization, and daily warehouse operations to ensure uninterrupted support for Manufacturing and Facilities while achieving operational objectives.\nPromote a safe, compliant, and ethical work environment by ensuring adherence to EHS, OSHA, DOT, security, hazardous materials, PPE, lockout/tagout, and other regulatory requirements.\nDrive incident prevention and risk reduction through safety training, audits, hazard identification, corrective actions, reporting, and proactive safety initiatives.\nOversee the receipt, storage, transportation, inventory management, and disposition of chemicals, gases, and raw materials while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards.\nEnsure inventory accuracy through transaction controls, cycle counts, reconciliations, audit readiness activities, SOX compliance, and management of obsolete, excess, and non-conforming materials.\nApply data, operational metrics, automation, AI-enabled tools, and continuous improvement methodologies to improve safety, quality, efficiency, cost, and service performance. \nBuild positive relationships across Manufacturing, Facilities, Procurement, Logistics, Finance, Quality, Inventory Control, and EHS while serving as the primary point of contact for operational and inventory-related blocking issues.\nMinimum Qualifications\nAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.\n3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience within warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, military, or industrial environments.\n3+ years of experience in material handling, inventory control, receiving, shipping, warehouse operations, or supply chain functions in a manufacturing or industrial setting.\nWorking knowledge of inventory management practices, material traceability, warehouse safety requirements, and operational processes.\nExperience applying ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), or inventory management platforms such as SAP, Oracle, or similar systems. \nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting semiconductor, chemical, gas, pharmaceutical, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments.\nKnowledge of hazardous materials transportation, storage, and applicable regulatory requirements, including DOT, OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations.\nExperience leading teams responsible for chemical inventory accuracy, receiving, shipping, material traceability, and audit readiness.\n2+ years of experience with Lean Manufacturing, TPM, 6S, Continuous Improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze operational metrics, drive process improvements, strengthen safety culture, and support business and customer objectives.\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
