You will maintain operational excellence in multiple world-class Data Center environments, both on prem and cloud, with published standards and compliances.\nResponsibilities:\nProvision MSSQL instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations with replication, Azure & AWS database support.\nEnsure performance, security, and availability of databases / Handle common database administration and maintenance such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.\nMonitor overall health of databases and provide timely resolution and root cause analysis for incidents to prevent issues.\nProfile server resource usage, capacity management, optimization and enhanced structure\nCollaborate with other infrastructure team members and user customers / Collaborate with multi-functional application teams to design efficient and scalable database structure throughout development, testing and deployment to production.\nInvestigate and fix database-related issues, including connectivity problems, performance degradation, and data inconsistencies.\nProvide technical guidance and support to developers and end-users / Prepare SOE and Runbook documentations, specifications and refine processes to support dynamic environments.\nParticipate in setting objectives, strategies, plans, programs, performance standards/measures and procedures / Follow SOX compliances.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nB.S. or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, other technical disciplines, or equivalent work experience.\nA minimum of 8+ years of overall experience in IT MSSQL Database Domain (On Prem and cloud) with proven experience in Database Operations.\nStrong proficiency in MSSQL database management with 2019 and 2022 versions of MSSQL\nSolid understanding on installing, configuring and troubleshooting MSSQL server, specifically Always ON Availability Groups, Replication, Clustering.\nDevelop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.\nTest and validate backups to guarantee recoverability in case of failures with DR experience\nKnowledge of Cloud services, preferably Azure and AWS\nProficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in designing and automating repetitive processes to streamline service and ensure consistency.\nGood hands-on scripting language and automation, preferably PowerShell and Ansible.\nexcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood communication, decision-making, prioritization, negotiation, collaboration and project management abilities.\nUnderstanding and alignment of ITIL change and incident management processes.\nGrowth mindset for continuous improvement.\nAbility to plan system resource requirements from high level specifications.\nAI usage (Leveraging AI, Generative AI, AI-Enabled)\n\n\"The specified role does not encompass the following responsibilities: Finalization of sales agreements or the execution of sales contracts is prohibited.
