The team partners closely with Process Engineering, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional organizations to optimize process performance, improve product quality, reduce manufacturing variability, and support stable high-volume production. Through advanced process control, data analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives, the team plays a critical role in enabling the reliable manufacture of leading-edge memory technologies that power AI and data-driven computing solutions.\nPosition Overview\nAs an RDA OOC Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing process performance, improving manufacturing stability, and reducing production variability within a dynamic semiconductor manufacturing environment. This position provides the opportunity to solve complex technical challenges, drive process capability improvements, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve yield, quality, and operational efficiency. You will leverage statistical methodologies, advanced analytics, and AI-assisted tools to identify opportunities, drive corrective actions, and support the successful execution of manufacturing and quality objectives.\nResponsibilities\nEstablish, optimize, and sustain semiconductor process conditions and manufacturing technologies.\nImprove process capability, inline performance metrics, yield, and production cost effectiveness.\nAnalyze process excursions, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.\nDrive fab MMM/OOC reduction initiatives and improve inline deviation index performance.\nValidate corrective and preventive actions (CA/PA) and improve RDA event reaction time for Fab AAL/GDM and internal AAL events.\nPartner with Quality Engineering and Manufacturing teams to support fab quality activities, customer audits, SPC compliance, and manufacturing stability.\nDevelop process management projects, optimize sampling plans, coordinate CPM activities, and implement smart sampling strategies to reduce WaR.\nLeverage advanced analytics, automation, and AI-assisted tools to improve decision-making, process performance, and operational efficiency while incorporating AI into daily responsibilities.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or a related technical environment.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience analyzing process data, identifying root causes, and driving process improvements.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and process management skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.\nExperience with advanced RDA technologies and semiconductor process control methodologies.\nKnowledge of SPC, CPM, FDC, and statistical process monitoring practices.\nExperience supporting quality systems, manufacturing compliance initiatives, customer audits, and process improvement projects.\nExperience using AI-assisted analytics for data interpretation, anomaly detection, yield improvement, and experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
