As an Engineering Assistant specializing in Office Engineering and Administration, you will provide essential administrative, coordination, and technical support to the engineering department. You will serve as a key liaison between engineering teams and other departments, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, proper documentation management, and efficient communication across the organization. This role is ideal for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, andpossessa foundational understanding of engineering processes and office administration.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nAdministrative Support\nProvide day-to-day administrative support to engineering managers, senior engineers, and department heads\nManage andmaintainengineering calendars, meeting schedules, and travel arrangements\nPrepare, format, and distribute engineering reports, presentations, memos, and correspondence\nHandle incoming and outgoing communications on behalf of the engineering department\nCoordinate and organize department meetings, take minutes, and track action items\nDocument & Records Management\nMaintain and organize engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, procedures, work instructions, and BOMs (Bill of Materials)\nEnsure proper filing, version control, and retrieval of engineering documents using document management systems (DMS)\nSupport the preparation and submission of engineering change requests and change management documentation\nAssistinmaintainingProcess of Record (POR), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and compliance documentation.\nEngineering Coordination Support\nAssistengineers with data entry, tracking of project milestones, and status reporting\nCoordinate with procurement, vendors, and suppliers for engineering-related purchase orders and material requests\nSupport new product introduction (NPI) activities by coordinatinglogisticsand administrative requirements\nTrack and report on engineering KPIs, action items, and project timelines using tools such as Excel, SharePoint, or project management software\nAssistin the coordination of equipment calibration schedules, maintenance logs, and safety compliance records\nOffice Operations\nManage office supplies, equipment inventory, and facility-related requests for the engineering department\nSupport onboarding of new engineering team members (workspace setup, access provisioning, orientation scheduling)\nLiaise with IT, HR, and Facilities teams to address department needs\nAssistin organizing engineering training sessions, workshops, and team events\nAI & Data-Driven Enablement\nLeverage AI/ML and analytics to:\nPredict yield trends and detect early excursions\nIdentifyhidden process correlations and variation drivers\nEnablepredictive process control and anomaly detection\nUtilize MES, equipment, and yield data to drive insights\nCollaborate with digital teams to deployAI-enabled dashboards/tools\nQualifications& Experience:\nExperience:\n0-3 years of experience in an administrative, engineering support, or office coordination role\nFresh graduates with relevant internship experience are welcome to apply\nEducation Requirement:\nDiploma orBachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field\nTechnical background or exposure to engineering environments is an advantage\nPreferred Qualifications & Skills:\nProficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)\nFamiliarity with document management systems and engineering workflows\nBasic understanding of engineering terminology, drawings, and processes\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAttention to detail andhigh levelof accuracy in documentation\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team\nExperience with project tracking tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana) is a plus\nKey Competencies\nStrong organizational and time management skills\nProfessional communication and interpersonal skills\nProactive and resourceful problem-solving approach\nDiscretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive engineering and business information\nAdaptability and willingness to learn in a technical environment\nTeam-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude\nAI & Digital Skills\nWorking knowledge ofdata analytics / machine learning fundamentals\nExposure to Python, SQL, or analytics tools preferred\nAbility to applyAI insights to process engineering problems\nFamiliarity withIndustry 4.0 / smart manufacturing concepts\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
