In this position, you will be responsible for supporting work for the photolithography team. This includes modeling to support optical simulation related to scribe mark, provide mark design recommendations, identifying root causes for sophisticated problems, and providing simulation training for other photolithography engineers. You will also define and lead projects to address photolithography performance gaps on current and future memory and storage nodes.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nUnderstand the technology challenges with respect to overlay and establish project plans to address them for the N, N+1, and N+2 nodes.\nWork with vendor applications teams to find areas for overlay scribe improvement.\nDrive technical innovation in your area of expertise as a recognized Micron expert in your field.\nStandardize methods and procedures across area, department and/or FABs.\nDefine and lead sophisticated, multi-disciplinary projects that are essential to Micron’s photolithography roadmap. Help to craft strategic decisions.\nWork with process development engineers on issues and projects related to photolithography.\nSummarize plans, progress to experimental work, and conclusions in the form of written reports.\nProvide advice and counsel to senior management on technical issues related to overlay scribe.\nBuild strong customer relationships to understand customer expectations.\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness,exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabledenhancements within one’s scope of work.\nQualifications for this position include:\nStrong understanding of photolithography. Familiarity with semiconductor process integration is a plus.\nUnderstanding of optics. Understanding of the principals of photolithography and optical metrology.\nUnderstanding of how lens aberrations, scanner chuck differences, and process variations can affect overlay.\nUnderstand various alignment and overlay marks. Understand how mark type and design can impact overlay errors.
