It's an exciting time at Micron!\nAs Process Technician's, we perform technical tests and experiments for process of R&D engineering in the wafer fabrication area of semiconductor manufacturers. You will perform the set-up of semiconductor processing equipment and monitor, audit and provide guidance to line operators. As a Process Technician, you will also test run and prepares records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products and provide technical assistance to process development and engineering personnel.\nResponsibilities\nFollow all safety and environmental procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws\nSupervise equipment performance and area efficiency\nFollow procedures while using applications to monitor equipment and increase efficiency\nApply available resources and tools to recognize potential capacity constraints\nVerify that tool qualifications have optimally completed and restart any qualifications that have failed\nPerforms Clean and Inspections (C and I) on area equipment\nEmphasizes focus on high constraint tools\nMonitors and releases area holds as per procedure\nFollows SWR instructions to process SWR’s and raises SWR related issues or concerns\nResponsible for monitoring and responding to SPC charts\nReviews pertinent charts to ensure processes are within the defined limits\nEscalate process deviation to engineering\nInvestigates root causes of Quality Deviation and writes Quality Deviation reports per procedures\nMonitors and responds to Param Alarm\nResponsible for Param Card Change\nResponsible for Functional C1D Temp Change and Card Change\nPerforms CPM after changes\nMonitors Misprobe and maintains quality on tools\nResponsible for the NBS Coinstacker PM, maintenance, and Wafer and Robot recovery\nLeverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, decision-making, and operational efficiency.\nApply AI-assisted solutions to analyze data, identify trends, and support business objectives.\nUtilize approved AI tools to streamline workflows, documentation, reporting, and problem solving.\nIdentify opportunities for AI augmentation and automation within business processes.\nMinimum Qualifications\nKnowledge of Probe manufacturing procedures, processes, or data systems\nFamiliarity with working with automated systems and tools\nAbility to troubleshoot process problems and address root cause\nProficiency in MS Word and Excel\nTime management and organization skills\nExperience with MTSPC and/or SPACE systems\nAbility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment up to 20lbs\nEffective communication skills\nIs self-motivated, self advised and runs projects without direct supervision\nStrong customer service skills and is dedicated to meeting the needs of customers\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills\nCollaboration skills and the ability to build strong peer relationships\nPreferred Qualifications\nEducation in industry related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience\nExperience using Linux systems\nPrior semiconductor experience\nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$22.75 - $44.00 an hourAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
