The intent is to protect and enhance organizational value while protecting the Micron brand and the customer perspective of quality.\nUltimately your responsibility is to gather and evaluate the information related to the overall quality management system, summarize and report findings to management which includes costs incurred when requirements are not clear or not met. The data you collect will enable all critical processes to maintain compliance with company policies, regulatory and statutory requirements, and any customer requirements and applicable industry Standards.\nYou will work with Micron departments and leaders to develop schedules, review documents and procedures. You will complete audit interviews and take evidentiary samples as defined in the audit project plan. You will analyze issues and identify control weaknesses. You will provide formal written reports that communicate project results and provide advisement as opportunities for improvement to management.\nOther duties include hosting or supporting external quality audits (customer and certification), contributing to the maintenance of the Micron Quality System, to interpret and become a subject-matter expert in all internal and external requirements, to participate in improvement projects, and other supporting activities to resolve non-conforming conditions. You will be expected to maintain a working knowledge of quality systems, methods, and processes to support in audits and assist Micron be more effective and efficient, while still maintaining compliance to external requirements.\nAs a QMO Auditor you will have opportunities to utilize your strong auditing skills to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization to solve problems and implement sustainable solutions. You will gain a broad perspective of Micron’s business by working on a variety of assignments across a global organization to analyze issues and make well-reasoned recommendations on assigned tasks. You will also leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve efficiency by simplifying audit processes, enhancing data analysis, standardizing audit documentation, and strengthening QMS effectiveness.\nResponsibilities and Duties include, but not limited to:\nPlan Audit, Objectives and Schedule\nAssist with the development and maintenance of the Internal Audit Schedule (System, Process, and Product Audits), the Customer Audit, and Certification Audit schedule.\nGather information from production, service, development and supporting activities and perform assessments to identify risk areas to be focused on during the audits.\nAnalyze department business process systems and previous audit information from multiple sources.\nLead Auditor: assist with audit team selection and audit plan preparation for internal audits.\nRepresent the audit team with management of the audited area, with customers and certification body.\nConduct Audits\nPerform internal quality audits (System, Process, Product Audits, and special audits as required by the organization) and identify value added non-conformity, strengths, and opportunities for improvement to achieve project objectives and adequately mitigate risk.\nIdentify process improvement opportunities to drive efficiency and effectiveness, protect company assets and shareholder value, and maintain compliance with company policies and regulations.\nLead or support special audits required by management upon need/request.\nAnalyze findings and summarize them for presentation. \nFacilitate the Closing Meeting with management to review and interpret results against the final objectives to enable the organization to improve processes.\nAssist, when needed, the root-cause analysis and appropriate action plans to solve non-conformities.\nFollow up on audits to ensure that solutions/actions are implemented to fulfill the requirements and avoid recurrence.\nMaintain an effective working relationship and collaboration with management, audit team members, and other key partners.\nEffectively and succinctly communicate project results and recommendations into assigned project managers.\nHost External Audits\nCoordinate the audit schedule with the greater QMO team and affected business process teams.\nHelp in preparation, including the manufacturing/laboratory line tours and coaching sessions, when needed.\nParticipate in the audit on-site.\nFacilitate the Closing Meeting to review and interpret results with management.\nSupport post-audit follow-up as needed for determination of action plan to solve non-conformities.\nEnsure the follow-up on audits to enable solutions/actions that once implemented fulfill the requirements and avoid recurrence.\nAnalyze findings and summarize them for presentation or report with the final objective to enable the organization to improve processes.\nParticipate as the auditee for the \"Manage Quality Audit\" business process, as needed.\nSupport Improvement of the Quality Management System through assessment and sharing of best practices and participating in improvement projects.\nMaintain personal knowledge and awareness of required auditor skills and competencies. \nMinimum Qualifications and Skills include, but not limited to:\nPrior experience in internal, customer, and/or certification audits.\nAwareness/experience of internal audit standards frameworks and certification rules\nUnderstanding or experience using ISO9001 and IATF 16949 certification rules.\nExcellent organizational and management skills, and outstanding interpersonal and teamwork skills.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nComfortable working with all levels within the organization.\nExperience and ability to collaborate within team and with cross-functional teams to understand needs and translate them into actionable plans, deliverables, and resource requirements.\nFlexibility and ability to work under tight timeframes and prioritize competing activities\nGood multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to complete assignments on time with minimum supervision.\nUnderstanding of how to find and assess applicable customer requirements.\nAmbitious, focused, dedicated and a self-starter with business insight\nAble and eager to learn and apply new skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint\nDesired Education and Experience\n2+ years of experience in auditing in the manufacturing industry, preferably semiconductors\nBS in Engineering, Business and/or related field or equivalent proven, practical experience\nKnowledge of Quality Management Systems, Business Process Systems, and the process approach for auditing, including risk-based thinking.\nKnowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949 (Certified Lead Auditor desired), Core Tools (FMEA, SPC, APQP, PPAP, MSA, 8D)\nKnowledge of VDA 6.3, ASPICE\nPassion for teamwork, continual improvement,
