Join Micron's Engineering team in Taiwan as a QE QMS Calibration Engineer. This excellent opportunity allows you to contribute to the perfect performance of our calibration systems while adhering to industry standards.
Work in the role of a QE QMS Calibration Engineer, devising and implementing strategies to improve our quality systems in collaboration with colleagues, customers, and team members. Your expertise in calibration and quality management systems to meet ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 standards will be valuable to our quality improvement initiatives and in addressing non-conformances, aligning with our mission to facilitate faster learning, communication, and progress.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Manage calibration processes in compliance with ISO 9000 and IATF 16949 standards.
Develop and implement strategies for maintaining and improving quality systems.
Ensure calibration results meet Micron’s exacting requirements and the tools/equipment are fit for use.
Coordinate with other departments to monitor tool calibration performance and compliance.
Support customer audits and quality certification processes.
Serve as a QMS engineer and support quality activity programs.
Qualifications and Additional Information:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience or above in Engineering or a relevant field
Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in the semiconductor industry
Demonstrate teamwork skills with the ability to effectively manage and complete assigned tasks
Demonstrate ability to build and maintain open, collaborative relationships with peers and multi-functional stakeholders
This position is based in Tainan. But during the onboarding and training period, you will be required to work in Taoyuan or Taichung for training purposes. The training period typically lasts between 3 and 6 months, after which you will relocate to Tainan as your permanent work location.
