You will be responsible for partnering with our Procurement business team for all aspects of Information Technology delivery, including strategic roadmap planning, project/portfolio planning and execution, and IT operational excellence. This role will partner with our business teams to implement IT solutions that improve and streamline our business processes bringing value to the organization. The key areas of the business supported include our Procurement functions. We’re 40 years, 20+ countries, 61,800+ lifetime patents, and over 53,000 people strong.\nResponsibilities and Tasks:\nAs a member of the IT Procurement team this role will be involved in:\nAnalyze existing SAP MM-IM, Ariba & AI technology issues and propose short, mid and long-term solutions.\nEvaluate new technologies and create proposals for their adoption based on business goals, investments, benefits and risks\nFoster innovation and implement creative out-of-the-box ideas by conducting brainstorming sessions and other innovation events\nPerform hands-on work related to system configuration etc. Document business requirements, Business process flows, functional specs and solution designs.\nBuild and maintain effective working relationships with business and technical leaders\nEnsure the stability and scalability of SAP Procurement solutions and its cross functional integration.\nGood understanding of the Business Processes.\nIdentify as-is processes and to-be processes.\nMap Business Processes to SAP.\nConduct Blueprint / Design workshops for one or more processes.\nConfigure scenarios in relevant SAP modules.\nWrite Functional Specification / Configuration documents.\nAbility to peer review documentation.\nResponsible for supporting and leading project tasks.\nIdentifies key drivers of a defined problem and proposes solutions.\nIdentifies and solves problems using analysis, experience, and judgment.\nPerforms analysis and effective diagnosis of clients' issues.\nSelects the most relevant tools/techniques to meet specific client requirements.\nDevelops and shares reusable assets that can be readily applied to new client projects.\nA significant contributor to work plans for components on engagements.\nMay lead a work stream, reviewing, and directing the work of more junior staff.\nCoordinates activities between work streams and identifies changes in scope.\nAbility to perform unit and performance testing on all system components\nDevelops solutions to client problems through application of personal experience and methods and tools; validates solutions to subject matter experts.\nDemonstrates accountability and contributions to the successful realization of client goals.\nAt least one end to end implementation and configuration experience on the SAP ERP platform, with a focus on Materials Management modules.\nUnderstanding of AI/GenAI use cases in Procurement and Supply Chain, including guided buying, spend analytics, supplier risk insights, contract intelligence, invoice automation, and exception management.\nAbility to evaluate and enabling SAP/Ariba AI capabilities, such as SAP Joule, Ariba AI-assisted recommendations, intelligent approvals, and AI-driven user support.\nAbility to identify automation and AI opportunities across SAP MM-IM and Ariba processes to improve cycle time, compliance, user experience, and operational efficiency.\nWorking knowledge of AI-assisted analytics and reporting, including use of dashboards, predictive insights, anomaly detection, and data-driven decision support for procurement operations.\nExperience partnering with business and technical teams to define AI use cases, document requirements, assess feasibility, measure benefits, and support adoption.\nFamiliarity with responsible AI principles, including data quality, access control, privacy, security, bias awareness, and governance for enterprise AI solutions.\nRequired Qualifications:\nTechnical Environments- SAP ECC, S/4 Hana\nSAP Functional Modules- SAP MM-IM, SAP ARIBA & AI/GenAI\n4 years of business analysis experience with added advantage of SAP MM/Ariba-CIG/S4Hana implementation experience with industry best practices.\n4 years of hands-on techno functional experience/subject matter expect in SAP Supply Chain Area(Materials/Ariba, S4, CIG Integrations, Ariba CIM and Supply Chain Planning solutions)\nStrong SAP knowledge in SAP MM-IM, Ariba modules and ERP full life-cycle implementations and demonstrated project implementation experience is required\nStrong Integration experience SAP with any non-SAP external systems is required.\nFormal SAP certification in a related application area is a plus\nIn depth understanding of the SAP Application Architecture & Technology including S4/Hana & Ariba preferred.\nSolid experience with IT processes related to Change management, Release Management and SDLC \nBroad and deep experience in SAP MM, IM, Ariba upstream and downstream system.\nStrong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills including the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms.\nStrong oral & written communication skills with an ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms\nProcurement solution including the following:SAP Ariba on CIG\nAriba OnDemand Solution\nHands-on functional configuration and design experience\nUnderstanding of functional aspects of Procurement\nFunctional experience on at least 1 full lifecycle SAP implementation\nSolid understanding of the SAP Activate or a proven methodology framework\n\nAbility to create workflows, rules, set up master data loads, mappings, define templates, custom reports, etc.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to seek alternatives, new ideas, and/or approaches to problems, and develop and implement solutions.\nExperience with Ariba integration with middleware and ERP systems (SAP preferred)\nAI Skills Required\nAgentic AI\nAgentic Solution\nGenerative AI\nNice to Have:\nExperience with SAP S4/Hana a plus\nSAP Ariba CIG\nSAP Ariba Sourcing, Risk\nAriba Central Invoice Management\nAriba Contract Compliance\nAriba Joule/AI capabilities\nExperience working with executive business stakeholders is required.\nDemonstrated ability to work cohesively across a cross functional and matrixed organization\nExperience with process mapping, documenting complex processes and presenting them in a clear and understandable format is required.\nExperience understanding, evaluating, and recommending changes to business processes are required.\nExperience developing strategic business process methodologies to drive business results\nStrong data analysis, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.\nAbility to consider upstream and downstream process impacts and implications.\nExhibits acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information technology, Engineering or related degree, or equivalent work experience\nAbout Us\nAs the leader in innovative memory solutions, Micron is helping the world make sense of data by delivering technology that is transforming how the world uses information.
