Because doing so can spark the very innovation we are pursuing.\nJob Description:\nAs a CAD Applications Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working in a collaborative, production support role evaluating, improving EDA and debugging both in-house and commercial Electronic Design Automation (EDA) tools and flows for Design Verification . You will work closely with the Design and Layout teams to increase their productivity and work efficiency.\nResponsibilities and Tasks include, but not limited to:\nDevelop, deploy, and support robust, configurable, and scalable tools to enable hardware verification across multiple projects . Identify, gather, and analyze metrics for improved automation reliability and hardware verification performance . Role involves debugging vendor tool issues . Interacting with DV team to help solve their problems . Implement new functionality to solve emerging problems or to optimize already existing methods.\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.\nQualifications:\nWorking knowledge of Verilog and/or SystemVerilog ,Assertions.\nMust be very experienced with Incisive/Xcelium , Synopsys VCS, or Modelsim.\nStrong programming abilities in Python and/or PERL are required; TCL is a plus\nExperience with UVM, VMM, OVM C, or C++ a plus\nExperience in coverage management VMANAGER.\nFamiliarity with Verdi, and/or Simvision is considered a plus.\nExperience with front end web development and UI is a plus.\nAbility to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
