Your work ensures environmental, safety, regulatory, and code compliance while driving system reliability and operational excellence.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop safe, reliable designs for Chemical and Slurry systems and ensure compatibility of materials of construction with all chemicals used.\nCreate, review, and maintain corporate equipment specifications, engineering standards, and design guidelines.\nAdvise sites on system capacity, load projections, and scenario-driven impacts.\nProvide technical feedback on infrastructure additions or modifications to support manufacturing and technology roadmap changes.\nSupply Micron standards to design partners and conduct timely reviews of design packages, construction documents, and engineering work.\nSupport project cost and schedule development and validate scope alignment with collaborator requirements.\nCoordinate with Facilities, Design, Construction, Procurement, and Manufacturing to ensure clear communication and project alignment.\nProvide technical guidance during construction, resolving design issues and ensuring alignment to change-management procedures.\nServe as a global subject-matter expert, supporting Operations, Maintenance, and Manufacturing with risk analysis, and system optimization.\nLead technical evaluations, including FMEA, mitigation of single-point-of-failure risks, benchmarking of best-known methods (BKMs), and ownership of corporate facility documentation.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience.\n 5+ years of experience working with high-purity chemical systems (semiconductor or related industry).\nStrong ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks.\nFamiliarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and facilities systems.\nAbility to travel domestically and internationally.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProven ability to manage complex workloads and multiple simultaneous projects.\nStrong organizational skills and customer-focused approach.\nExcellent interpersonal and multi-functional collaboration skills.\nExperience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes. \nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$99,000.00 - $255,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
