This position is responsible for driving manufacturing excellence through the development, optimization, standardization, AI proficiency or AI-enabled ways of working where applicable, and deployment of semiconductor test processes across global test operations.\nThe successful candidate will lead a team of engineers focused on test process control, yield improvement, quality enhancement, new product introduction (NPI), manufacturing readiness, equipment and process qualifications, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires close collaboration with Product Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Industrial Engineering, R&D, and global site teams to achieve world-class operational performance as well as leveraging AI to accomplish KPI's.\nKey Responsibilities\nLeadership & People Management\nLead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team of Test Process Engineers.\nEstablish team goals, development plans, and performance objectives aligned with business priorities.\nDrive a culture of accountability, innovation, safety, inclusion, and continuous improvement.\nBuild technical capability within the organization through coaching, training, and succession planning.\nLead cross-functional and global initiatives involving multiple manufacturing sites.\nTest Process Engineering\nOwn and drive test process development, optimization, validation, and deployment for Component Test manufacturing operations.\nDefine and maintain process standards, best practices, and operational controls.\nLead process qualification activities using structured methodologies such as DOE, risk assessment, and statistical analysis.\nEnsure robust process controls are established and sustained across manufacturing operations.\nDrive process capability improvements to support quality, output, cost, and cycle-time objectives.\nYield & Quality Improvement\nChampion yield improvement initiatives through systematic root cause analysis and corrective actions.\nLead containment, disposition, and resolution activities for quality excursions and customer-impacting issues.\nUtilize statistical tools and data analytics to identify process variation and drive corrective actions.\nPartner with Product Engineering and Quality teams to improve outgoing quality and reliability performance.\nDrive implementation of preventive measures to eliminate recurring manufacturing issues.\nNew Product Introduction (NPI)\nLead manufacturing process readiness activities for new product introductions.\nEnsure successful transfer from product development into high-volume manufacturing.\nPartner with Product Engineering and Operations teams to establish manufacturing specifications and process controls.\nCoordinate qualification activities and manufacturing risk assessments during NPI execution.\nManufacturing Excellence\nDrive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence initiatives.\nLead productivity, efficiency, and cost reduction programs.\nEstablish KPIs and performance dashboards to monitor manufacturing health.\nDrive factory automation and digital transformation initiatives where applicable.\nEnsure compliance with Micron business processes, quality standards, safety requirements, and operational procedures.\nEquipment & Technology Development\nPartner with Equipment Engineering teams on qualification, upgrades, and process capability improvements.\nSupport recipe management, process standardization, and technology proliferation across sites.\nEvaluate and implement innovative manufacturing solutions to improve productivity and quality.\nLead technical evaluations and mitigation plans for equipment-related process issues.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related technical discipline.\nMinimum 15+ years of semiconductor manufacturing, product engineering, test engineering, or process engineering experience.\nMinimum 5+ years of people management experience leading engineering teams.\nStrong understanding of semiconductor assembly and test manufacturing processes.\nProven experience driving yield, quality, productivity, and cost improvements.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills utilizing data-driven decision-making.\nExperience with statistical analysis tools and methodologies.\nExcellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.\nExperience in Component Test, Memory Test, Burn-In, System Level Test, or semiconductor backend manufacturing.\nKnowledge of test equipment platforms, process qualifications, and manufacturing automation.\nExperience with reliability methodologies, failure analysis, and quality systems.\nLean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent certification.\nExperience leading global
