You will be responsible in supporting the overall Operations including, but not limited to, develop frameworks monitoring and improvement initiatives on Engineering performance to plan, develop valuable engineering solutions, driving continuous improvement projects in equipment utilization and support new tool setup and qualification. In addition, you also need to coach and train other TMs to improve engineering capability and personal/professional development.\nResponsibilities\nEquipment Availability and Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE) Improvement\nProactively improve equipment availability using equipment FMEA, Potential Problem Analysis, design improvement or other Continuous Improvement projects.\nStrategize Spare inventory management to achieve most cost-efficient solution to sustain availability and minimize downtime.\nConsistently track key equipment performance indices and generate reports for management reviews.\nPerform engineering evaluations to drive equipment efficiency, utilization and capability improvement\nAutomate equipment data gathering and perform equipment assessment to reduce equipment induced yield losses.\nManufacturing Support\nWork closely with manufacturing staff and leading a team of shift technicians to realize output and quality goals\nSetting up and qualified new tool setups and collaborate with logistics and facilities in the process\nParticipate in solving and prioritizing issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution\nCoordinate new product runs, support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing\nAnalyze equipment failures and implement workaround and fix in a timely manner\nManage equipment hardware and software and process changes and documentation\nContinuous Improvement Projects\nWork on projects to improve overall equipment efficiency and effectiveness\nParticipate in improvement projects and execute to desired results\nDevelop software to monitor test production floor and enhance productivity\nReview business plans regularly, explore opportunities for operational efficiency improvements.\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements. \nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work. \nPeople and Training\nPrepare training and certification materials.\nConduct training courses and certification.\nDocument One-Point lessons.\nProviding documented performance management for all direct reports with formal and informal feedback.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required \nStrong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills \nEffective communicator, able to collaborate across all levels \nGrowth mindset with a passion for continuous learning \nInternship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus \nDemonstrated leadership and a track record of impact are highly desirable \nInterest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred. \nCapable of working on a flexible schedule (e.g. compress shift) \nCandidates with relevant experience is preferred. \nRequired to work on shift\nAbility to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes. \nEmbody Micron’s core values:\nPeople - Respect, develop, and empower others \nInnovation - Drive continuous improvement and breakthrough thinking \nTenacity - Show grit and determination \nCollaboration - Build trust and foster teamwork \nCustomer Focus - Deliver excellence and value \nSpeed - Act with purpose and set the pace\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
