You will provide solutions that create business value while at the same time minimizing negative impact resulting from defects, downtime, or performance degradation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nYou will work closely with multiple teams that make up IT, Information security and Technology to drive impactful change.\nDesign, engineering and implementation of application security solutions in a scalable way for a worldwide enterprise.\nDesign, build, and maintain REST APIs and backend services in C# / ASP.NET Core 8\nApply SOLID principles and clean dependency-injection patterns to keep the codebase Reusable and maintainable\nWork with Azure services directly: App Service, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Application Insights, Static Web apps and API Management\nWrite and maintain unit tests, and participate in code review\nDiagnose and fix performance/reliability issues - async/await correctness, caching strategy (Redis), resiliency (retries/timeouts)\nCollaborate with QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams; contribute to CI/CD pipelines.\nHands-on experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day development, with the judgment to validate, test, and refactor AI-generated code\nQualification / Requirements\n3-5 years of professional software engineering experience, primarily in C# / .NET\nSolid hands-on experience with ASP.NET Core (Web API) - understands middleware, DI container, configuration/options pattern\nPractical understanding of SOLID principles and object-oriented design - can explain them and, more importantly, apply them when reviewing or refactoring real code\nExperience with Azure cloud services: App Service, Key Vault (or equivalent secrets management), Blob Storage, Azure Managed Instance DB, Web Jobs & Functions and Application Insights (or comparable APM/logging)\nComfortable with Asynchronous Implementations\nExperience consuming and building REST APIs\nFamiliar with caching (Redis or similar distributed cache) and when to use it\nWorking knowledge of MS SQL Server - can write and reason about queries, joins, and simple schema changes; understands parameterization and basic performance/indexing concepts and Locking\n Basic working knowledge of Angular - comfortable navigating components/services, calling REST APIs, and making small UI changes in an existing Angular app\nUnit testing experience (xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest) with mocking frameworks (Moq or similar)\nGit-based version control and CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps preferred)\nNice to Have\nExposure to API gateways (Apigee, Azure APIM)\nExperience modernizing or interoperating with legacy .NET Framework codebases (e.g., migrating from .NET Framework 4.x to .NET 8)\nFamiliarity with IoC containers beyond built-in DI (e.g., Unity, Autofac)\nUnderstanding of resiliency patterns (retry, circuit breaker - e.g., Polly)\nSecurity-conscious mindset - has caught or fixed issues like disabled token validation, hardcoded secrets, or missing authorization checks in a past role\nPrior experience in a regulated/enterprise manufacturing or facilities-domain environment\nAZ-204 Azure developer or similar certification.\n\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
