Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to be responsible for design review, execution, and commissioning of HVAC systems and Process Utility systems for projects. The role involves end-to-end project management, including collaborator coordination (PMC, GC, and sub-vendors), ensuring compliance with international standards, and delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget. Key Responsibilities: Monitor and review the work of GC, PMC, and sub-vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project specifications.\nConduct regular site inspections and call out any deviations, delays, or quality issues to the client management team.\nReview engineering work such as P&IDs, PFDs, equipment sizing calculations, data sheets, and technical specifications.\nEnsure correct integration of HVAC and Process Utility systems into project scope.\nReview vendor documents, GA drawings, and layout for correctness and constructability.\nPlan and supervise execution activities for HVAC and Process Utility systems across multiple work fronts.\nDrive construction sequencing, resource allocation, and contractor mobilization plans.\nPrepare and maintain look-ahead schedules, execution plans, and progress reports.\nMonitor material availability, site logistics, and workforce deployment.\nSupervise execution of Chiller Systems, AHUs, FCUs, VRF Systems, and Cleanroom HVAC Systems.\nPressurization systems, exhaust systems, and hazardous area HVAC compliance.\nEnsure proper ducting, insulation, and balancing works as per project requirements.\nSupervise installation and commissioning of all the Utilities (CDA, Cooling Towers, CR system, Exhaust system, Chiller and HVAC Systems.\nSupervise equipment erection, alignment, piping installation, ducting, and system integration.\nLead pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including functional testing and performance validation.\nDrive punch list closure and ensure timely handover to clients.\nEnsure adherence to project specifications, approved drawings, and QA/QC procedures.\nImplement HSE protocols, participate in safety audits, and resolve site safety concerns.\nConduct method statements and risk assessments for major activities.\nMaintain up-to-date site progress reports, inspection records, and commission documentation.\nProvide inputs for as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project close-out dossiers. Required Qualifications & Skills:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred).\nExperience: Minimum 5 years of experience in execution of HVAC and Process Utilities in Semiconductor/Pharmaceutical/Oil & Gas related projects.\nTechnical Competencies:\nSolid understanding of HVAC systems (chillers, AHUs, cleanroom systems) and mechanical utilities\nAbility to interpret P&IDs, equipment sizing, and layouts for execution.\nProficiency in project planning tools and site coordination techniques. • Soft Skills:\nExcellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.\nAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and drive cross-functional coordination.\nExperienced with generative AI tools (Copilot, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.).\nAble to use AI tools for data organization, report writing, and problem analysis.\nUtilize AI to assist workflows and improve the efficiency of engineering management and project execution.\nPossesses a digital mindset and is willing to learn and implement emerging AI technologies in engineering management.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
