In this position, you will work with Micron engineers, technology partners and vendors to develop unit processes that meet device requirements for next-generation semiconductors, integrate processes as part of multi-functional teams and ultimately provide technology transfers to Micron’s worldwide manufacturing network. Additionally, you will address process issues with manufacturing and work on continuous improvements for manufacturability including cycle time, redundancy, and cost. Advanced process development tasks will include; Performing material evaluations; reticle, layout and OPC development; process window analysis; overlay optimization.\n Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nAlign with all safety protocols and finish the required safety items.\nDocument procedures, transfer developed processes, and communicate results with senior management team and manufacturing partners\nWork jointly with equipment vendors to improve equipment design, test new equipment, and drive process improvements by working with vendors\nOptimize cell yield improvement, failure analysis, and device performance through process techniques\nImprove cycle time, resolve capacity related issues, and reduce costs.\nDocument and communicate plans, status, and results of R&D projects in written reports and presentations, including the analysis and interpretation of data\nCollaborate across multiple groups including but not limited to: process integration, process areas, design team, manufacturing, and equipment development teams.\nReview all types of literature to identify potential intellectual properties (IP) opportunities and file disclosures \n Minimum Qualifications:\nUnderstanding of optics including the principles and application of immersion lithography, polarized illumination, and low k1 imaging.\nExperience with chemical process specific to lithography, including materials for 365, 248, and 193nm lithography.\nExperience with lithography simulation software and application to low k1 imaging.\nExperience with material properties and characterization techniques of lithography.\nRequired Education: MS/PhD in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical Degree relevant to Photolithography and Process Development. (B.S. with 6 years semiconductor processing experience with emphasis on Lithography will also be considered.)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong skills for research and development and ability to create production-worthy technologies.\nAbility to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and react to shifting priorities to meet business needs.\nAbility to develop and maintain relations with multi-functional teams and vendors.\nUnderstanding or familiarity of architectural structure of Micron’s memory products, semiconductor process flows and steps.\nExperience with project management tools and techniques.\nStrong interpersonal skills (written, verbal and presentation).\nProficient in statistics, data analysis, Design of Experiments (DOE), and Statistical Process Control (SPC).\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
