Sr Indirect Category Supplier Manager II - Materials Category

As an Indirect Category Supplier Manager for Materials in Construction, you will be responsible for validating strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers and the respective internal partners and stakeholders. You will be conducting strategic sourcing initiatives, plan and execute negotiations using supplier and industry analysis, benchmark and cost management. Through management of the category strategy, you will also be building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, driving best-in-class, cost, supply and resilience.

Category Management & Strategic Sourcing

• Implementprocesses to monitor customer satisfaction with key suppliers.
• Recommendtargets to maximize value such as high revenue, spend reduction, purchasing efficiency, customer services and supplier management.
• Analyzesourcing trends and make recommendations for assigned categories.
• Participatein supplier segmentation and strategic goal-setting.
• Developcategory strategies for managed categories and validate strategies with Global and Regional Category Managers/s and internal partners.

Cost Management & Analysis

• Identify and evaluatecategory-specific savings/revenue levers
• Drivecategory savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets
• Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal customers
• Utilize should-cost models for assigned categories that are benchmarked and relevant to the global marketplace

Negotiation

• Lead or participatein negotiations for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, transfers, etc
• Leadsourcing events/RFQ process into bundled negotiation
• Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into negotiations
• Developa contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and create, negotiate, monitor and enforce contracted terms and conditions
• Conductstrategic sourcing initiatives, negotiations, and cost management using supplier and industry analysis.

Business Partnering

• Collaborate with Customers to Deliver Strategic Solutions
• Develop and maintain expertise in the assigned spend categories through relationships with key stakeholders
• Drivecustomer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement
• Develop and maintaincollaborative partnerships to enhance cost-effectiveness, supply chain efficiency, and resilience.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Over 10 years of experience in the Facilities & Construction Category
• A relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent exprience
• Proven experience in category management and strategic sourcing
• Experience managing multiple large-scale projects concurrently, ability to work with minimal supervision & strong project management skills
• Effective Communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Advanced Skills in materials cost structure and analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working in indirect category management at a semiconductor company
• Experience working with Ariba, SAP, and SCOUT
