Operate within established governance and sourcing processes and policies to conduct and execute RFx activities and apply demand management. Build and own category strategies to drive savings, value, assurance of supply, quality and supplier performance within your assigned categories. Conduct detailed should-cost and benchmark analysis. Take the lead in identifying and negotiating favorable terms with suppliers and partner with Legal team to negotiate and execute complete contracts. Drive alignment with team members, cross-functional partners, develop, lead and execute negotiation strategies. Manage Micron’s relationship with key/strategic suppliers and have responsibility for holding suppliers accountable, managing and resolving commercial and operational issues, and improving supplier performance. Position requires 15% domestic travel.\nEmployer will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Business Administration, Business Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, Industrial and Systems Engineering or related field, and 6 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.\nPosition requires:\n1. Developing and recommending cost savings proposals through should cost analysis, alternative sourcing, and market analysis;\n2. Contract redlining or reviewing including Service Agreements, Construction Agreements, and Statements of Work;\n3. Artificial intelligence process management;\n4. Data-driven sourcing and business recommendations with quantitative analysis to guide executive decision-making;\n5. Strategic sourcing and procurement;\n6. Independent category strategy development management and execution\n7. Supplier relationship and performance management; and\n8.
