As a Product Ownerwithin SMAI,you willplayan important roleonthe teamthatdefines, drives, and delivers end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions, integrated acrossfunctionsof the business. The team applies industry-leading methodologies in automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and generative AI (GenAI) to enhance Micron’s product development, business, and administrative processes across the company.

This role offers a rare opportunity to help build and shape a growing Smart Manufacturing and AI team that is directly supporting the growth of Micron’s domestic manufacturing footprint in Boise. As a Senior/ StaffProduct Owner,you’llplay a foundational role in defining how AI and GenAI are embedded into early technology development and yieldramp, drivingreal, measurable impact on factory performance.You’llwork at the intersection of manufacturing, data science, and product strategy,partnering with global teams while contributing to a highly visible, strategically critical initiative that is helping define the future of U.S.based semiconductor manufacturing.

Responsibilities and Tasks

  • SupportDRAM technology development, which includes deployment of existing smart-manufacturing solutions to TD as well asthedevelopment of new customized tools/solutions for TD

  • Work with users to capture and analyze information related to the adoption of apps for Smart Manufacturing.

  • Identifygaps, weaknesses, and inefficiencies in current solutions, including opportunities for AI enabled enhancements.

  • Define business solutions and propose projects for implementation, using AI and GenAI technologies.

  • Lead projects and activities requiring coordination, support, and management of resources from global teams.

  • Use metrics and performance data to discover opportunities for improvement, including predictive analytics and intelligent decision support.

  • Provide domain and system expertise. Collaborate with data scientists to analyze data and discover opportunities in early technology development and yield ramp challenges using AI/ML models.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master's orBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Science

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Process Integration Engineering or Process Equipment Engineering department.

  • Proven experience leading and managing projects, with strong program and project management capabilities.

  • Good understanding and experience inearly stagetechnology development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Possess strong domain knowledge offabprocesses, experienced in yield improvement activities.

  • Strong passion for Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Generative AI (GenAI), with a strong interest in applying these technologies to smart manufacturing and yield improvement.

  • Stronganalytical andproblem solvingskills.

  • Self motivatedand excellent in communication,team work, and collaboration with other departments.
