In this role, you will develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise AI platforms and shared capabilities that enable AI solutions across Micron. You will collaborate with solution delivery teams, innovation teams, and business stakeholders to accelerate AI solution development and strengthen Micron's AI ecosystem.\nThe successful candidate will contribute to AI platforms and services including GenieLLM, GenieLab, OpenCode, Omelek (O2), and other enterprise AI capabilities supporting innovation across Micron.\nResponsibilities\nAI Platform Engineering\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain enterprise AI platforms and shared services.\nDesign and implement reusable AI capabilities, integrations, frameworks, and accelerators that can be leveraged across multiple teams.\nContribute to platform architecture, reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.\nEvaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies to improve platform capabilities and user experience.\nSupport development and maintenance of platform capabilities utilizing AI, cloud, and developer productivity technologies.\nSolution Enablement\nPartner with solution delivery teams to enable successful development and deployment of AI-powered solutions.\nDevelop reusable patterns, best practices, and technical guidance that accelerate AI solution delivery.\nSupport integration of shared AI platform capabilities into business solutions.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to identify opportunities for applying AI technologies to business challenges.\nPlatform Operations & Governance\nMaintain platform health, availability, performance, and service quality.\nTroubleshoot platform-related issues and drive root cause resolution.\nSupport AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices.\nDevelop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge resources.\nCollaboration & Innovation\nPartner with SMAI Innovation to evaluate emerging AI technologies, prototypes, and solution concepts.\nCollaborate with product owners, architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to align platform capabilities with business needs.\nContribute to platform roadmaps, architecture standards, and engineering best practices.\nPromote knowledge sharing and technical excellence across the organization.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.\nExperience developing, maintaining, or supporting enterprise applications, platforms, or technology solutions.\nProficiency in Python.\nExperience with GitHub, source control, and collaborative development practices.\nFamiliarity with APIs, system integrations, and modern application development concepts.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a global and cross-functional environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Generative AI technologies, Large Language Models (LLMs), and AI-powered applications.\nHands-on experience with Open WebUI, OpenCode, MCP-based integrations, AI agents, or similar AI ecosystems.\nExperience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Vertex AI, Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Google Cloud Storage (GCS), AlloyDB, and BigQuery.\nExperience developing or maintaining web applications using Angular.\nExperience with GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment automation tools such as Octopus Deploy.\nFamiliarity with Backstage or similar developer portal technologies.\nUnderstanding of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), AI agents, MCP, and AI orchestration concepts.\nExperience developing, maintaining, or enhancing shared platforms, reusable services, and APIs.\nKnowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, compliance, and responsible AI practices.\nExperience with .NET / ASP.NET technologies is a plus.\nDemonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn and adopt emerging AI technologies.\nWhat Success Looks Like\nDeliver AI platform capabilities that are utilized across multiple teams and business functions.\nImprove the reliability, scalability, and usability of enterprise AI platforms.\nAccelerate AI solution delivery through reusable services, frameworks, and best practices.\nPartner effectively with solution delivery and innovation teams to bring new AI capabilities into production.\nContribute to a scalable AI ecosystem that drives measurable business value across the enterprise.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
