Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\nRole Summary\nThe Manufacturing Technician supports day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure safe, stable, and efficient production execution in a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role focuses on executing production plans, monitoring process performance, supporting equipment and material readiness, and escalating issues that impact safety, quality, delivery and cost.\nWorking closely with Manufacturing Engineers, Process Engineers, and cross-functional partners, the Manufacturing Technician plays a critical role in achieving production targets, maintaining operational discipline, and driving continuous improvement at the shop-floor level.\nKey Responsibilities\n1) Safety & Quality Compliance\nAdhere strictly to safety policies, quality systems, and cleanroom protocols.\n\nPerform work area inspections and follow safe work practices to maintain a safe working environment.\n\nEnsure products are handled, processed, and documented in compliance with quality and 6S requirements.\n\nSupport containment actions and follow-up activities when deviations are identified.\n\n2) Production Execution & Operations Support\nExecute daily production activities according to established production plans, work instructions, and standard operating procedures.\n\nMonitor production flow, cycle time, and work-in-progress (WIP) to support on-time delivery (OTD) and output targets.\n\nPerform routine checks to ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ready for production use.\n\nIdentify and escalate production issues (e.g., delays, abnormal trends, bottlenecks) to engineers or shift leads in a timely manner.\n\nOperate multiple machines in a highly automated cleanroom environment to meet shift targets.\n\n3) Equipment & Process Monitoring\nSupport basic equipment operations, changeovers, and checks in accordance with defined procedures.\n\nMonitor process parameters and equipment status to ensure stable manufacturing conditions.\n\nAssist in troubleshooting minor process or equipment issues and support engineers during deeper investigations.\n\nRecord and report abnormalities, deviations, and observations accurately to ensure traceability.\n\n4) Continuous Improvement & Team Support\nParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, cycle time, quality, and operational efficiency.\n\nProvide feedback and ideas to improve processes, workflows, and SOP.\n\nSupport data collection and basic analysis activities to assist engineers in performance tracking and improvement projects.\n\nFoster a collaborative and disciplined team environment across shifts.\n\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness,exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\n\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabledenhancements within one’s scope of work.\n\nRequirements:\nHigher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering or Applied Sciences (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Chemical, Materials, or related disciplines).\n\nAble to work 12-hour shifts, including night shifts.\n\nBasic familiarity and understanding of manufacturing processes and high volume manufacturing or production environments.\n\nAbility to follow structured work instructions and procedures.\n\nAbility to use computer-based systems and applications to perform daily tasking, data entry and reporting.\n\nWillingness to learn manufacturing systems, tools, and equipment.\n\nClear verbal and written communication skills (in English) for reporting issues and handovers.\n\nAttention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.\n\nPrior experience in semiconductor manufacturing or high-volume production environments is preferred.\n\nAbility to apply baseline digital fluency and role-appropriate AI literacy to use AI-enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem-solving, operational tasks, and achieving business outcomes.\n\nPerforms current Production Operator responsibilities and duties within a Fab organization as well as outlined technical tasks.
