The role focuses on hands on tool operation, data collection, basic troubleshooting, material disposition, product and tool qualification, and supporting improvement projects within the manufacturing environment. Realtime Defects Analysis operations by executing measurement activities, monitoring process deviations, assisting engineers with defect investigations, and ensuring timely detection of issues affecting product quality. The role focuses on hands-on tool operation, data collection, first level or basic troubleshooting, and supporting improvement projects within the manufacturing environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nMetrology & Defect Detection Support\nPerform measurement activities using established recipes to provide quick and accurate feedback on product integrity. \nOperate inspection and metrology tools to support defect detection using the latest innovative inspection technologies. \nCollect and organize measurement and defect data for engineer review. \nProcess & Equipment Monitoring\nConduct routine monitoring using Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts according to defined tool qualification criteria. \nFollow sampling methodologies to proactively identify deviations in machinery and processes and escalate abnormalities promptly. \nSupport Engineers and Engineering Operations in tool maintenance schedules, tool recovery, and basic troubleshooting activities. \nExecute first level equipment and system troubleshooting \nPerform internal preventive and corrective maintenance to Metrology and Realtime Defect Analysis tools.\nDefect Investigation & Data Support\nAssist engineers with data gathering and preliminary checks during defect source investigations and defectivity improvement projects. \nProvide accurate data summaries when supporting Fab related process analysis and equipment availability improvement efforts. \nGenerate first pass data analysis for tool or process commonalities and root cause analysis\nProject & Continuous Improvement Assistance\nSupport ongoing projects aimed at improving inline detection, reducing tool measurement variability, improving efficiency, and increasing tool availability. \nCollaborate with tool suppliers and owners by providing tool performance feedback and assisting in trials of new methods supporting shrinking technology node challenges. \nTraining & Operational Readiness\nMaintain competency in recipe maintenance, basic troubleshooting, and recovery procedures for assigned metrology and inspection tools. \nEnsure compliance with operational procedures and support a safe, efficient, and well-maintained work environment.\nRequirements\nNitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma or equivalent in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, Materials, or related fields. \nAbility to work effectively in a fast paced and dynamic environment. paced and dynamic environment. \nStrong communication skills (written and verbal). \nCandidates with experience in semiconductor fabrication processes are preferred. \nDemonstrates Micron values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Collaboration, and Customer Focus. \nAble to work on 12 hours shift (Morning/Night Shift)\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
