Because doing so can fuel the very innovation we are pursuing.\nThe PCS Technician executes, maintains, and sustains Micron’s PCS systems, SPACE Statistical Process Control (SPC), Applied Materials E3: Fault Detection and Classification (FDC) and Run to Run (R2R), MES (Manufacturing Execution System), MESCentral, and MAM (Manufacturing Application Management), RMS (Recipe Management Systems)\nto ensure accurate system updates, stable automation behavior, and strong data integrity across manufacturing.\nKey Responsibilities\n1) SPC (SPACE Platform)\nCreate and update SPC charts, limits, rules, and attributes.\nMonitor chart health and escalate abnormalities.\n2) E3 - FDC & R2R\nUpdate FDC traces, limits, alarms; perform basic troubleshooting.\nEnable/disable R2R models based on engineering instruction.\n3) RMS - Recipe & Parameter Control\nProcess recipe revisions and parameter changes.\nValidate recipe uploads and equipment communication.\n4) SigmaSpec - Specification Management\nUpdate SigmaSpec per approved engineering change.\nEnsure spec alignment across SPC, FDC, R2R, and RMS.\n5) MES / Shop Floor Systems\nExecute MES changes, validations, and state transitions.\nSupport WIP, equipment status, and data collection plan accuracy.\nTroubleshoot MES errors (missing data, state flow issues, communication faults).\n6) MAM - Application Logic Support\nUpdate PCS-linked MAM workflows.\nValidate rule behavior affecting SPC, FDC, and system communication.\nEscalate MAM logic issues impacting control strategy.\n7) Governance & Documentation\nExecute changes following ECN and site governance procedures.\nMaintain change logs and verification/closure evidence.\n8) Monitoring & First-Line Troubleshooting\nMonitor dashboards for alarms, data gaps, and communication failures.\nPerform first-line diagnosis and escalate as needed.\n9) Cross-Functional Collaboration\nSupport Process, Equipment, Manufacturing, PCS/Automation, and Quality Engineering.\nProvide on-floor support during major updates or equipment conversions.\n10)Competencies\nProblem Solving-Structured, data-driven troubleshooting.\nAccountability-System reliability, documentation accuracy, and ownership.\nTeamwork-Effective collaboration across engineering & operations.\nInnovation-Continuous improvement mindset and persistence through complexity.\nQualifications\nNitec/Higher Nitec/Diploma in Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, IT, Automation, or related field.\nBasic understanding of SPC, automation, and semiconductor operations.\nExperience with SPACE SPC, E3 FDC/R2R, RMS, MES/Shop Floor and SigmaSpe is preferred.\nSemiconductor manufacturing or automation experienc will be ana dded advantage.\nAble to work on 12 hours rotating shift.\nIntegrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.\nContributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work\nAbout Micron Technology, Inc.\nWe are an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions transforming how the world uses information to enrich lifefor all.
