Our team partners across engineering, construction, procurement, safety, and operations to deliver complex, schedule-driven projects that support future technology innovation.\nThe US Construction Risk Manager plays a critical role in protecting project outcomes across a portfolio of large-scale construction programs. This position provides leadership in identifying, quantifying, monitoring, and mitigating risk throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with project stakeholders to drive risk-informed decision making, support project execution, and provide executive-level insight into potential impacts to cost, schedule, safety, quality, and project delivery.\nResponsibilities:\nLead and continuously improve the construction risk management framework, including governance, risk identification, assessment, escalation, and reporting processes\nOwn the program risk register, ensuring risks are quantified, assigned, actively managed, and tracked through closure\nConduct quantitative schedule and cost risk analyses, including Monte Carlo simulations, contingency planning, and forecast development\nPartner with project teams, contractors, procurement, and stakeholders to develop and execute mitigation strategies for construction, supply chain, labor, contractual, and operational risks\nDeliver executive-level risk reporting, facilitate cross-functional risk reviews, and support informed decision making across the project portfolio\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related technical discipline\n10+ years of experience in construction project controls, construction management, or capital project risk management, including direct responsibility for a formal risk management program\nExperience supporting large-scale capital construction projects valued at $1B+ within industrial, semiconductor, advanced manufacturing, data center, pharmaceutical, or similar environments\nStrong expertise in quantitative risk analysis, including Monte Carlo schedule and cost simulations, contingency development, and risk forecasting\nWorking knowledge of construction contracts, claims management, project schedules, construction documents, OSHA construction standards, and AI tools such as Copilot or equivalent technologies\nPreferred Qualifications:\nMaster's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field\nProfessional certification such as PMI-RMP, PMP, CCP, CEP, DRMP, CCM, or Professional Engineer (PE)\nExperience supporting semiconductor fabrication facility construction, including cleanrooms, process utility systems, central utility plants, or related infrastructure\nExperience with commissioning, production turnover readiness, integrated project delivery, advanced work packaging, or lean construction methodologies\nProficiency with risk analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI or Tableau, including analysis of large project controls data sets and multi-site capital programs. Interest and/or experience in adaption of agentic AI into workflows and processes. \nThe US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:\n$113,000.00 - $203,000.00 a yearAdditional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.\nOur salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
