Monitors recently probed material and categorizes dead die into known defect issue categories and investigates new or unknown defect issues. This position requires a strong sense of responsibility and passion, reflecting Micron’s core values: People, Innovation, Tenacity, Teamwork, and Customer Focus.\nResponsibilities:\nPerforms initial data analysis on new issues, conducts failure analysis, documents findings, and summarizes investigation results-including potential root cause-into a single report for stakeholders.\nEfficiently operates all lab equipment in compliance with safety guidelines, with a strong understanding of equipment functionality and ability to perform basic troubleshooting.\nSupports Company and Department Objectives\nWorks to support company and department objectives and vision plans\nOpen to suggesting new ideas and participates in projects and teams in support of department and company objectives\nMinimum Requirements:\nAssociates degree in Electronics, AC/DC Electronics Technology or equivalent\nFlexibility to work 12-hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) and be willing to move to different shifts and work overtime to support business operations. \nThe ability to always wear lab-specific clean room garments (100%) to prevent human contamination of products, and occasionally wear PPE (Personal Protective Equipment), such as a chemical apron and face shield (approximately 1% of the time). \n3-5 years working in the industry; or similar experience gained through military service \nMinimum of 3-5 years’ experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements, with hands-on experience in laboratory environments.\nPreferred Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree in physical science\n5+ years of industry experience; or equivalent military training and experience \n5+ year experience identifying performance gaps and implementing strategic improvements. \nHands-on experience operating and troubleshooting SEM, Dual Beam FIB, TEM, and deprocessing equipment within a semiconductor manufacturing or analysis environment.\nExperience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes\nAs a world leader in the semiconductor industry, Micron is dedicated to your personal wellbeing and professional growth.
