We are a growing company, devoted to a safe working environment, focused on Customer and Employee success, and driven by Continuous Improvement.\nWe are growing the World’s Best Company in Delavan & Cudahy.\nMicroPrecision LLC has a history of steady employment (our average employee tenure is 8.2 years), a stable team-focused workforce, offers excellent working conditions, a climate-controlled facility & state-of-the-art equipment.\nPOSITION PURPOSE:\nUnder direction from the Production Supervisor, the Machine Operator A operates machines to manufacture a variety of standard parts and details to close tolerances and finish requirements.\nFull-Time\nSalary Range: $20-25 / hr\nShift Available:\n1st shift: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm\nMachines you will work with:\nHAAS Vertical Mills\nHAAS Lathes\nOkuma Lathes\nESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:\nOperate machine tools to produce precision parts\nModify parts and materials to improve overall production\nInspect completed parts\nCalculate dimensions and tolerance using measuring instruments\nOperate machine, observe operations, check dimensions and adjust as needed\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nThis list of responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management deems necessary. Employees are and will be held accountable for all duties of the job.\nMay operate multiple machines \nPerform close tolerance machining operations such as centering, drilling, reaming, tapping, turning, milling, deburr at back side, file and/or sand\nOperations may vary with approval of supervisor to compensate for variations in material and machining operations\nLubricate machines as needed with oil, grease and coolant\nWill work from drawings specifications and job layouts using a variety of measuring instruments\nMake machine and tool adjustments as needed\nObtain and return tools as required\nChecks parts per specification and ensure proper forms are completed including part tags, process sheets and timecards \nMaintain and improve insert and tooling management\nMay help and train other staff \nMust be quality conscious and continuously look for quality improvements\nREQUIREMENTS:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
