As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for supporting all warehousing functions from offloading incoming shipments, processing inventory, moving inventory throughout the warehouse, and various other duties.\n\nIdeally, you should have some warehouse experience, but if you want to get your foot in the door working in IT and can adapt to a constantly changing workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy, cleanliness, and safety then this role is perfect for you! We offer onsite training, competitive pay, and a Monday – Friday schedule with day shift hours.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\nOrganizing and processing incoming warehouse inventory\n\nMoving skids into disposal, helping our drivers load or unload trucks (when needed)\n\nCoordinate shipping with couriers\n\nVerify documents for correctness on shipping and receiving documents\n\nPick and process orders as required and documents for export/shipping\n\nEnsure good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained in the shipping area\n\nQualifications and Education Requirements:\n\n1-2 years of experience is required\n\nApplicants must be organized and have the ability to multi-task\n\nGood communications skills\n\nBasic computer user skills (Windows, Excel) are an asset\n\nAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced work environment\n\nAbility to adapt to changes and to learn company policies quickly\n\nAbility to work effectively in a team setting or individually\n\nAbility to be accountable for a team and other departments\n\nContributes to Health and Safety\n\nPosition Requirements:\n\nMust be able to lift 60+ lbs.\n\nMust have appropriate steel-toe footwear\n\nMust be able to pass a criminal record check (CPIC)\n\nCapability to sustain a standing position for extended periods.\n\nCompensation: In accordance with the BC Pay Transparency Act the range for this role for BC residents is $23 - $25 per hour. Please note the exact salary is determined based on a combination of your relevant experience, skill, competencies, and internal pay equity.
