Microsoft brings together productivity, data, identity, security, compliance, management and governance to help organisations deploy AI confidently and responsibly at enterprise scale.\nThe Purpose of the Role\nWe are seeking an AI Workforce Solution Engineer, Copilot to help customers understand, design, demonstrate and implement the next generation of AI-powered work.\nThis is a highly customer-facing technical role at the intersection of business transformation, solution architecture, AI and the modern workplace. You will work alongside Microsoft sales teams, partners and customer stakeholders to translate business challenges into compelling Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio and AI Agent solutions.\nYour role is to make AI real and actionable for customers. You will bring customer scenarios to life through technical discovery, architecture, demonstrations, rapid prototypes, proof of concepts and technical workshops that show how Microsoft AI can transform the employee experience and reshape how work gets done.\nYou will help customers progress from AI experimentation to enterprise-scale adoption, addressing the technical, security, data, governance and organisational considerations required to deploy Copilot and Agents responsibly.\nYou don't need to know everything on day one. technical customer engagements\nLead technical discovery and solution envisioning with customers, identifying high-value scenarios where Microsoft 365 Copilot and AI Agents can transform how employees work.\nEngage business and technical stakeholders to understand customer requirements, existing environments, security considerations, data readiness and desired business outcomes.\nTranslate customer requirements into clear and compelling Microsoft AI solution architectures.\nDemonstrate the art of the possible\nDeliver compelling Microsoft 365 Copilot demonstrations, technical workshops, architecture sessions and proof-of-concept experiences tailored to customer scenarios.\nBring customer use cases to life by demonstrating how Copilot can support employees across meetings, communication, knowledge discovery, content creation, analysis and business workflows.\nBuild demonstrations and prototypes that showcase how Copilot and Agents work together across the Microsoft ecosystem.\nDesign Copilot and Agent solutions\nArchitect solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, AI Agents, Microsoft Graph, connectors and extensibility capabilities.\nHelp customers determine when to use out-of-the-box Copilot capabilities, when to extend Copilot and when to create purpose-built Agents.\nDesign solutions that connect Copilot and Agents with enterprise data, knowledge, applications and business processes.\nAdvise customers on Agent architecture, orchestration, grounding, authentication, permissions, lifecycle management and governance.\nAccelerate Copilot readiness and adoption\nAssess customer environments and identify the technical prerequisites for successful Copilot deployment and adoption.\nProvide guidance across identity, information architecture, permissions, security, compliance, data protection and AI governance.\nHelp customers understand how Microsoft technologies work together to provide a secure and governed AI platform.\nSupport customers as they progress from initial pilots and experimentation to enterprise-scale Copilot and Agent deployment.\nPartner across Microsoft and the ecosystem\nWork closely with AI Workforce Specialists, Account Executives, Cloud Solution Architects, Customer Success teams, engineering teams and partners to develop customer solutions and accelerate adoption.\nOrchestrate Microsoft technical resources and specialist expertise around complex customer opportunities.\nCollaborate with partners to build repeatable solutions and scalable Copilot and Agent offerings.\nBuild technical credibility and thought leadership\nBecome a trusted technical advisor to customers on AI-powered workforce transformation.\nStay current with the rapidly evolving Copilot and Agent ecosystem, continuously developing expertise in generative AI, Agentic AI, Copilot extensibility, orchestration, enterprise data, security and governance.\nShare technical learnings, reusable assets, customer patterns and best practices across the Microsoft field community.\nProvide feedback from customer engagements to product and engineering teams to help influence future capabilities.\nModel Microsoft's culture\nDemonstrate a growth mindset, customer obsession, inclusion, collaboration and accountability.\nContribute to an inclusive and high-performing technical community across ANZ.\nHelp others develop their AI capabilities by sharing knowledge, coaching peers and building reusable technical assets.\nQualifications\nMinimum Experience\n5+ years of experience in solution engineering, pre-sales engineering, solution architecture, technical consulting, cloud technologies, SaaS, workplace technology or enterprise applications.\nDemonstrated experience translating business requirements into technical solution designs and architectures.\nExperience presenting and demonstrating technology to both technical and business audiences.\nStrong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and compelling way.\nExperience leading technical discovery, workshops, demonstrations, proof of concepts or solution design sessions.\nStrong customer engagement skills and the ability to build credibility with technical and business stakeholders.\nA passion for AI and a demonstrated ability to rapidly learn emerging technologies.\nAustralian Citizen or Permanent Resident.\nPreferred Experience\nExperience with Microsoft 365, Teams, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Copilot Studio or Microsoft 365 Copilot.\nFamiliarity with generative AI, Large Language Models, Agents, grounding, orchestration, Retrieval-Augmented Generation or enterprise AI architectures.\nExperience building or integrating AI-powered applications, Agents, automations or business workflows.\nUnderstanding of enterprise identity, security, compliance, information protection, permissions and data governance.\nExperience working with APIs, connectors, low-code platforms or extensibility frameworks.\nFamiliarity with enterprise change and adoption considerations associated with deploying AI at scale.\nThis position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with
