You will own several high-impact intern experiences, including our annual Intern Celebration, while developing new opportunities for interns to experiment, build future-ready skills, form meaningful relationships, and make an impact through their work.\nThis role is ideal for someone who can connect strategy to execution, bring structure to ambiguity, build for global scale, and use data and insights to continuously improve programs. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nDesign and evolve the global intern experience\nTranslate broader talent priorities into scalable experiences that strengthen intern engagement, community, belonging, readiness, and connection to Microsoft.\nOwn the program strategy, experience design, and continuous improvement of flagship intern experiences, including Intern Celebration and community-focused programming.\nDevelop globally scalable approaches that create consistency where it matters while allowing for appropriate regional and cultural differences.\nPartner with regional teams, vendors, volunteers, and other delivery partners to enable high-quality execution at global scale.\nDevelop and execute programs that strengthen community and belonging across Microsoft’s global intern population and create opportunities for meaningful relationships with leaders and the broader Microsoft community.\nDesign experiences that help interns experience Microsoft’s culture and mission, feel valued for their contributions, and build connections that strengthen their overall internship experience.\nDevelop Frontier skills and innovation experiences\nDesign experiences that expose interns to emerging technologies, experimentation, and evolving ways of working.\nCreate opportunities for interns to apply learning through meaningful work, innovation experiences, collaboration, and problem solving.\nTest new experience approaches, evaluate their effectiveness, and make recommendations about what should be improved, scaled, or retired.\nIdentify opportunities to connect meaningful project scope and individual ownership with skill development, innovation, and business needs across the broader intern experience.\nMeasure and demonstrate program impact\nDevelop and maintain measurement approaches that assess intern experiences across areas including belonging, engagement, skill development, program effectiveness, and talent outcomes.\nEstablish success measures for assigned programs and use quantitative and qualitative insights to evaluate impact.\nAnalyze trends and identify gaps and opportunities across intern populations, experiences, and geographies.\nTranslate insights into actionable recommendations for program improvements and future investment.\nDevelop clear reporting and narratives that help stakeholders understand program performance, impact, and opportunities.\nLead through partnership and influence\nBuild collaborative relationships across Early in Profession, Global Talent Acquisition, learning organizations, HR, business teams, regional partners, vendors, and other Microsoft stakeholders.\nLead complex initiatives across organizational boundaries through influence, collaboration, and clear accountability.\nCreate clarity in ambiguous environments and translate program objectives into actionable plans.\nAnticipate program risks and dependencies and work across teams to drive resolution.\nPromote experimentation, continuous learning, and an outcome-focused approach to program delivery.\nOther\nEmbody our culture and values \nQualifications\nRequired/minimum qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance, or related field AND 4+ years experience in program management, process management, or process improvement OR equivalent experience.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and workstreams.\nExperience translating broader organizational priorities into program strategies, plans, and execution.\nExperience using data, feedback, and insights to evaluate program effectiveness and inform decisions.\nDemonstrated ability to collaborate and influence across organizational and functional boundaries.\nExperience designing or managing employee, intern, university, early-career, learning, community, or talent experiences.\nExperience delivering programs across multiple geographies, businesses, or audiences.\nExperience with community building, belonging, learning, employee engagement, or experience design.\nExperience developing measures of success, dashboards, reporting, or other approaches to evaluating program effectiveness.\nExperience with programs involving emerging technology, innovation, experimentation, or future-of-work capabilities.\nExperience launching new programs or significantly evolving existing programs.\nExperience managing detailed program operations, including budgets, complex logistics, timelines, dependencies, and execution plans.\nDemonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and convert ideas into actionable, scalable programs.\nWritten and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively across a range of audiences.\nBusiness Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $97,600 - $188,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $125,000 - $206,400 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
