Join the team to learn, build, and create real impact at scale.\nResponsibilities\nMaintain & Operate Networks\nWorks within a team of engineers to automate network tasks such as test cases, configuration deployments, and operating network equipment.\nWorks within a team of engineers to manage network equipment deployments and/or network configuration deployments. Works with a machine-readable definition of the network deployment.\nNetwork Design and Implementation\nDevelops an understanding of quality assurance and network or code review processes by assisting in identifying risks and classes of bugs and becoming familiar with essential details related to network implementation (e.g., physical connectivity, power, protocols, telemetry) and designs qualification with guidance from other engineers.\nAssists in the design of reliable, scalable, and high-performance network features or components with guidance from other engineers.\nDevelops knowledge of network technologies to draw insights that aid in network design, implementation, and operation.\nQualifications\nRequired/minimum qualifications\nCurrently pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship OR Currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field with at least one semester/term of school remaining following the completion of the internship.\nAdditional or preferred qualifications\n1+ year(s) of experience in programming language (e.g., Python).\nNetwork certification from a router manufacturer or equivalent certificate (e.g., Cisco Certified Network Associate [CCNA], Juniper Networks Ceritfied Internet Associate [JNCIA], Computing Technology Industry Association [CompTIA Network+], etc.).\nThe base pay range for this internship is USD $5,690.00 - $11,210.00 per month. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $7,410.00 - $12,250.00 per month.Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
