This role is crucial in supporting Microsoft's mission to deliver reliable and scalable cloud services to our global customers. You will collaborate with a passionate and motivated team, embracing a NetDevOps culture to deliver customer-centric solutions and drive operational excellence.\nResponsibilities\nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop and implement scalable and high-performance network designs.\nLead cross-functional architecture reviews and ensure designs meet functional, performance, and security requirements.\nCollaborate with key stakeholders to support data center and network site development.\nDrive automation through the adoption of NetDevOps practices, including automated testing, validation, and telemetry pipelines.\nAnalyze incident data, traffic trends, and telemetry to proactively address capacity needs and improve network resilience.\nParticipate in a follow-the-sun on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 operational support, driving swift incident resolution and ensuring high availability across Microsoft’s network infrastructure.\nStay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve network infrastructure. As a group, CO+I is focused on the personal and professional development for all employees and offers trainings and growth opportunities including Career Rotation Programs, Diversity & Inclusion trainings and events, and professional certifications. \nEmbody our culture and values.\nQualifications\nQualifications:\nDemonstrated experience in operational support and providing design input for large-scale, enterprise-grade network solutions.\nUnderstanding of network automation, including scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and DevOps tools.\nFamiliarity with cloud-scale networking technologies and architectures.\nKnowledge of network security best practices and tools.\nRelevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are highly desirable.\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.\nPreferred skills:\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.\nA willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies, tools, and practices in a fast-paced, evolving environment.\nProven experience in designing and deploying large-scale, enterprise-grade network solutions.\nExperience with NetDevOps practices and tools. \nStrong communication skills, with the ability to mentor and guide team\nMicrosoft is an equal opportunity employer.
