You will execute against scope, schedule, and budget to deliver the latest generation of data centre technology to Microsoft’s Online Services. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nPrimary responsibility for Vaasa, Finland & EMEA region commissioning projects. \nCreate and/or maintain best practices to identify and incorporate quality and cost-effective solutions. \nManage the contracted Commissioning Agent assigned to Data Center construction projects. \nConstruction site inspections to review QA/QC and commissioning process. \nDrive the project Commissioning process including scope and schedule. \nCommunications\nRegularly reviews Construction Progress, QA/QC, Commissioning progress, issues, and KPI metrics to report to management. \nCoordinate meetings and activities of vendor project managers including integration of lessons learned. \nManage client representatives and partners to define and align on scope, schedule, and budget. \nAttend scheduled owner/architect/contractor (OAC) and other project meetings, and report as necessary. \nReport Project Progress on scope, schedule, and budget weekly or as required. \nAccountability\nResponsible for developing, managing, and reporting on scope, schedule of the Commissioning Process Projects. \nReporting of the Commissioning process to management on a regular basis. \nStrategy and Development\nManage data center commissioning project delivery strategy in alignment with the road map strategy. \nRefine practices/policies and develop methods/techniques for driving solutions including development of commissioning procedures. \nProvides input into a long-term delivery strategy and incorporates requirements into the project execution plans. \nVendor Management and contract compliance\nProvide Vendor oversight and performance management (Scorecard driven). \nPreparation of RFP’s and other project approval tools & templates. \nQualifications\nRelevant technical engineering experience or any of the following OR Bachelor's OR Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Reliability Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field \nExperience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation, construction and/or commissioning \nConsiderable experience with Mechanical OR Electrical Test Equipment \nStrong proficiency in written, spoken and technical English, as all business operations and stakeholder communications are conducted in English \nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.
