You will execute against scope, schedule, and budget to deliver the latest generation of data centre technology to Microsoft’s Online Services. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nSupport End-to-End Project Delivery: Support the successful delivery of hyperscale data centre construction projects from enabling works through construction, commissioning and handover. Track milestones, actions and deliverables to help achieve project scope, schedule, cost and quality objectives.\nChampion Safety, Quality and Compliance: Promote a safety-first, security-first and quality-focused culture on site. Support inspections, audits and incident reviews while ensuring compliance with Microsoft standards, project requirements and local regulations.\nCoordinate Construction Activities and Stakeholders: Act as a key point of coordination between contractors, consultants, vendors and internal teams. Facilitate communication, resolve interface issues and help maintain alignment across all project workstreams.\nDrive Planning, Reporting and Project Controls: Maintain project records, monitor progress against key milestones and support the preparation of reports, dashboards and performance metrics covering schedule, cost, safety, quality and risks.\nManage Risks, Issues and Change: Track project risks, issues, decisions and actions. Support change management processes by assessing impacts, documenting potential schedule and cost implications, and coordinating timely resolution.\nProvide Technical and Constructability Support: Review drawings, specifications, method statements and technical submittals with engineering and construction teams. Identify potential constructability issues, technical risks and opportunities for improvement.\nSupport Commercial and Vendor Management Activities: Assist with contractor and vendor management, including scope reviews, change orders, project controls documentation, procurement support, forecasting and performance monitoring.\nDeliver Continuous Improvement Through Data and Insights: Use project data, dashboards and site observations to identify trends, improve predictability and strengthen project delivery performance. Capture lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement across the program.\nQualifications\nRequired Qualifications:\nRelevant technical engineering experience or any of the followingOR bachelor's OR master’s degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering, reliability engineering, electrical engineering or related field \nExperience in Data Center facility maintenance, operation, construction and/or commissioning \nConsiderable experience with Mechanical OR Electrical Test Equipment \nSolid proficiency in written, spoken and technical English, as all business operations and stakeholder communications are conducted in English \nPreferred Qualifications:\nCommissioning Certification \nOSHA 10 or higher qualification \nNFPA-70E \nBackground Check Requirements:\nAbility to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:\nMicrosoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter. \nConstruction Project Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Finland is € 87,000.00 - € 143,200.00 per year.
