You’ll work directly with technical and business stakeholders to design and implement secure, scalable, and resilient architectures that support AI workloads and business-critical applications.\nYou bring deep proficiency in migrating core workloads-including Windows, SQL Server, Linux, PostgreSQL, and Oracle-to Cloud & AI. Beyond migration, you lead customers through modernization using the 6R strategy, containerization best practices, and Cloud & AI-native services like AKS and Arc, while exploring how AI and intelligent agents can accelerate legacy transformation.\nYou also apply networking knowledge to design hybrid and cloud-native solutions, including virtual networks, VPNs, and secure routing architectures that meet enterprise performance and compliance needs. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.\nResponsibilities\nDrive technical sales by using technical demos, proof of concepts, technical architecture accelerator to influence solution design and enable deployments. \nLead architecture sessions and technical workshops to accelerate Cloud & AI adoption. \nBuild trusted relationships with platform leads to co-design secure, scalable solutions. \nResolve technical blockers by collaborating with engineering and sharing customer insights. \nMaintain expertise in cloud migration (Windows, SQL, Linux, PostgreSQL, app workloads), resiliency, security, and compliance. \nDeepen knowledge of enterprise apps (SAP, Oracle) and Cloud & AI VMware Solution (AVS). \nRepresent Microsoft in customer forums and technical communities through thought leadership.\nQualifications\nRequired/minimum qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 4+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.\nAdditional or preferred qualifications\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or related field AND 8+ years technical pre-sales or technical consulting experience OR equivalent experience.\n4+ years experience with cloud and hybrid, or on premises infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, industry standards, and/or technology management.\nCertification in relevant (Microsoft or industry) technologies or disciplines (e.g., Microsoft Office 365; Power BI; Azure Administrator, Architecture, and Development exams; Cloud Platform Technologies; Information Security; Architecture).\nDigital Solution Engineering IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $106,400 - $203,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $137,600 - $222,600 per year.\nCertain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
